I’ve got to give some props to a few of the Ohio BMX Trail Series regulars. We traveled well for the Ranch Jam and stop #6 (I think) of the trail series being held in Dugspur, VA.

1- Handsome Joe @b4u2bu has great style and is extremely helpful in towing me through lines that have me 2nd guessing my skill sets. This happens pretty much everywhere we go.

2- 7 yr old Pierce Parmer @heathwilll will undoubtedly be over this coping very soon. Anyone that watches this kid rage on any surface would agree.

3- This is the view of Greg @bigwheelbeem that I typically (by typically… I mean always) had when we used to race together.

4- Greg again… but from a bugs perspective.

5- @propainbmx drops in from the platform. He’s got an ongoing, friendly battle of “who will do it first” going on with…

6- this guy, @burneseli, and…

7- @spunky614 . Listening to the three of them shit talk and motivate each other all summer is good stuff.

8- @mrtotalraditude has been rad on a bike for years… decades even! He should also be thanked if you enjoyed riding pretty much anything at The Ranch, as he and Craig Billingsley have spent months there with hammers and shovels.

9- @kthomas_bmx makes a solid argument for the win of the high jump contest. He can boost!!… clearly.

10- @max_rides_bmx has all the talent needed to blow our minds over the next few years. He rides everything and doesn’t seem to tire…ever.

11- You’ll have to look up into the tree branches to find Apple Creek’s main man @actrailboss. That’s usually where he can be found.

12- @tfry4130 has drastically improved his riding as of late. Here he is getting chased by a stalker.

13- I was late on the trigger, but trust me, @kyan_johnston just threw a mean table down the big line. by @boneau210

Random visuals from @theranchcamp this past Saturday. Thanks to @early2000sbmx and @ohbmxtrailseries for organizing such a killer weekend! 🤘

1- @naribmx can boost to the moon and then wow you with useless 80’s/90’s movie trivia.
2- @max_rides_bmx was getting comfortable on the 11’ quarter. His BMX stoke is contagious.
3- @kade.normore with a perfect table on the mini. The Friday and Saturday night jams in the barn were insane.
4- ?? with a no hander off the wall. Sorry, buddy… I didn’t get your name. Unfortunately, you’re not alone in that regard. This just in… it’s @jamiethayer
5- @dr00bs with the perfect invert on the quarter. 2nd place in high air and plenty of “Hell yeah’s!” for his efforts.
6- @tylerfernengel won the high air contest on the monster quarter with this air. You’re dumb if you look away when he’s riding.
7- @corythefoust tables the biggest dubs at The Ranch. I wish that I had captured one of his dog piss airs. Too much style and control for one person.
8- @kyan_johnston was nonstop kicking ass AND he won the most stoked award at the Rad Share jam in Richmond on Sunday. Well deserved, Kyan! 🤘
9- Missed his name, but not this seat grab Indian air! Looked even better in person. @jamiethayer again! He was clearly going off all day.
10- I think that he’s from NJ. I think that he’s the same guy giving me pointers at the trails behind Powers bike shop on Sunday. I know that I love all of these lazy looking one footer tricks. emiller_bmx is this you?
11- Bike flip! After bailing on the first attempt, this one was executed perfectly. I can’t even begin to imagine what it takes to commit to this trick. Wish that I knew who it was. Now I know… it’s @joshcatonbmx 🤘 by @boneau210

When you find yourself with an over abundance of skills on the small ramp, you take the time to share your knowledge with the younger generation… in this case, it’s Andy’s younger brother, Nathan.
Exactly, 38 years later the three of us would ride our bikes across the great state of Ohio together.

As a kid, I collected football cards. Whenever I’d open a new pack and find a Cris Collinsworth card (I’m a Bengals fan), I’d absolutely lose my shit (in a good way)!
That’s kinda how it felt to stumble across random @tajlucas photos in Andy Johnson’s shoebox of photos. Early 90’s trips to the NBL Grands and Rampage supplied the backdrops. by @boneau210
