My heart is broken. Thank you for being the voice of thousands of women who just couldn't quite find theirs. Thank you for being unapologetically you. Thank you for raising me right, Miss Finch, if only I had half the balls. I feel like I lost a sister.
RIP, badass babe 🥀💔

Happy Gotcha Day to our beautiful son, Castle! Splooty McMuffin Toes. Blue Velvet Boy. Honey-Eyed Boy. We brought him home one year ago today and he's just the sweetest, most gentle little goober. We love him to pieces! 🖤🐾🏰

@fireinthemountains Part 3: THE MUSIC - Just about every band that performed this weekend that I hadn't heard gained a new fan. What an epic lineup of incredibly talented musicians and songwriters. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

1. @cchelseawwolfe and her ethereal vocals under the Montana night sky
2. @pan.amerikan.native.front
3. @witching_philly (wish I'd gotten video, they killed it!)
4. @thetruepanopticon
5 & 6. @tzompantlidoom bringing out the animal in everyone. I was trying to decide on one more shirt to get (I limited myself to 3) and they made my decision for me!
7. @bloodincantationofficial playing their heavy set
8 & 9. @wardruna - as enchanting as ever
10. @majesties_melodicdeath during their first ever live performance, they definitely made a fan out of me!
11. @converge making everyone lose their EVER LOVING MINDS (in the best way)
12. @oldmanschild_official with their first ever live performance in the US, following an epic cloudburst and lighting show
13. Not pictured: @emmaruthrundle who put on a deeply raw performance that I felt in my soul.

@fireinthemountains Part 2: The Spirit, Connection - This experience kept me nearly in tears (and actually in tears) the entire weekend. I didn't believe it was possible for FITM to get more magical than my first in 2019, but I was wrong.
There are no words to describe the magic that this event evokes. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so, so much to everyone who made it possible. I cannot WAIT until next year. See you in the mountains.

1. Welcome from the Tribal Council
2. Traditional Blackfoot Warrior song
3. Shrine to the late Ozzy Osbourne
4. Heavy Music Heals panel discussion
5. Lighting of the Sacred Fire
6. Raffle for the custom skull painted by the @FirekeeperAlliance

Goths in the Woods, year 9 with all of these beautiful demons (and many others not pictured, I was too busy living in the moment!) It always goes by too fast. If you don't love me at my 🤪 you don't deserve me at my 🧛‍♀️👹🏕. I love you guys!!! (Despite the look of sheer terror, no Mikes were harmed in the making of this post)

Without further ado, I introduce to you our new son, Castle! He was brought to us via the universe's #catdistributionsystem (thank you so much, Anh & Chau!!!) and after losing Bones in December of 2023 his presence is most welcome. We love our boy so much, he's only been home a little over one week and he's thriving. Life feels whole again. I'm in love!

Almost forgot to share how much fun I had #clowninaround with these beautiful people on NYE! This is what happens when you're told "We're dressing up, but silly!" and you're extra 🤷‍♀️ Also, what do you see in the last picture?
