Got to say farewell to my old work place Matthews Arena Saturday night. This iconic building opened in 1910 and is the oldest working arena in the world today. The Celtics and Bruins called this place home before the old Boston Garden. It became home to Northeastern University hockey and I was able to enjoy the 5 best years of my life working with the men’s and women’s hockey programs. Next week Matthews Arena will be hosting its last game against arch rival BU and then closing its doors for ever. I will truly miss this place, the people I met, the friendships I made, the Zamboni crew, mocha the cat, and the stories and history of this iconic barn! You were legendary and will be missed! by @boneman33_
