POSTS STORIES REELS

Number 1 Ultra Heavyweight Brown Belt @vinnycorrado

When Vinny first came to the academy he had a goal, and he knew he needed the right guidance to get to where he wanted to go. Fast forward a few years and we’ve turned first round exits into Major Ibjjf titles in the adult brown belt division.

Vinny could easily decide to do masters but instead challenges himself in the adult division.

We have more goals to check off the list but this deserves to be celebrated 🔥🔥

Vinny we are happy for you and very proud!

🚨 NEW CLASS 🚨

Starting May 7th!!

We’re excited to relaunch our Women’s Only Jiu Jitsu class!!

This class, isn’t just about learning techniques. It’s about building confidence, and community for the women who are already a part of Bones BJJ as well as those who aren’t, but are still looking to learn in an environment just for women.

Whether you’re completely new or already have experience, this class, this space, is designed for you. This class will be designed to be a place where you can challenge yourself without pressure and learn at your own pace.

Jiu Jitsu teaches more than self-defense—it teaches resilience, patience, and belief in yourself. You’ll leave every class a little more confident and knowledgeable, than when you walked in.

If you’ve ever thought about trying it, this is your sign.

Come train, come grow. 🥋✨ by @bonesbjjacademy

Hard work isn’t optional here.
Every round, every rep, every day built on dedication, teamwork, and consistency.
We show up with purpose, chase our goals, and push each other forward.
This is how progress is made🥋

Originally just another coach and student relationship. Now I still have the pleasure of being your coach but you’re now one of my best training partners, and a huge part of what we’re building at @bonesbjjacademy

I’m really proud of your progress, the work you put in and even more grateful for the friendship and the energy you give to those coming up behind you at the academy.

excited for what’s next. 🫱🏼‍🫲🏿🔥

Every woman deserves the confidence to protect herself, and a place where she can learn in a way that feels safe, welcoming, and fun. 💙

We’re proud to offer Women’s Only classes, where women can build practical self-defense skills, meet new people, and feel supported while they train. Each person who steps on the mats adds something to the culture and community we’re building at Bones BJJ Academy.

Come learn, grow, and be part of it. 🥋 by @bonesbjjacademy

Confidence grows one class at a time

In our kids’ classes, children build confidence, and learn practical skills while they discover what they’re capable. All while being in a supportive, encouraging environment.

Building self defense skills, and developing strong confidence, means a safer, more empowered kid. 💪🥋

@vinnycorrado getting after it 🔥🔥

Leading up to this competition we really focused on making the takedowns flow into immediate offense from a guard passing perspective not allowing our opponents to make any space to get their guard back or rest to neutral positions.

We really trained Vinny to make an effort to put constant pressure on his opponents from the moment the referee said fight to the moment he scored a submission or the time stopped. Happy to see him put all of that into play on the competition mats by @bonesbjjacademy

Looking forward to another women’s only class tonight!! Open to everyone, visitors are welcome! by @bonesbjjacademy

It’s just practice bro 😏

Something I try to remind my students of when I see them starting to develop too strongly a desire to win at all cost mentally in training instead of using training as a tool to work on the techniques, concepts and skills you’re trying to develop
