Help, what do I do with my hands? 😅

This is a really scary thing to say out loud, but I simply cannot keep up with custom orders anymore. I need the time back to make things I love and am proud of.

I hateeee letting people down, and at the moment, if anything happens in my life, it pushes orders back too far for me to reasonably provide good service.

Also, things break in the kiln and that stresses me out if it’s someone’s custom piece and I need to remake it haha.

I love how much you all support my small business and there is going to still be SO MANY things you can buy it will just be things that I want to make.

I will still be at YART Sale every three months at Hammo Station Hotel, and I will still be dropping hearts when I have collections done.

Anyway, love you bye.

People ask all the time, how to safely hang a heart so that it doesn’t break. This is how I hang them, and how we installed them for my exhibition. I prefer a fatter headed screw rather than a hook due to the way I have created the keyhole on the back. This allows the screw to essentially lock into place. I hope this helps!

A little more from our latest exhibition ❤️

Dave Ross & Bonnie Hanson bringing two very different creative worlds together under one Mayfield roof. Bold, tattoo-inspired paintings meet hand-built ceramics, and somehow it just works.

On the walls now at your local. Back open tomorrow x taken in Sonny and Betty by @bonfireceramics

Yesterday marked TWO WHOLE YEARS of making sacred hearts.
My life has changed in so many ways because of the love and support I’ve been shown from my friends and community in that short amount of time.
I’ve made close to 150 hearts if not more, since I began, which is absolutely insane.
Ive held my first solo exhibition at @tatt.brat_
I have had two joint exhibitions with the love of my life at @sonny.and.betty
Ive traded hearts with other incredible artists and connected with so many insanely talented humans.
Ive gained a collective 15,000 followers between this instagram and my pottery tiktok.
And yall have sold me out of every drop in record times.

Every single part of this journey has been the most incredible thing I’ve ever experienced and I have each and every one of you to thank for it.
Forever grateful that this is something I get to do and share with you all.

Anyway, here’s a look at my very humble beginnings and the first hearts I ever made in chronological order.

Im so glad you’re here. Thank you for everything 💕

NEW EXHIBITION AT YOUR LOCAL ❤️

Partners in life and creativity, Dave Ross & Bonnie Hanson come together for our latest exhibition at Sonny & Betty!

Mayfield local and tattoo artist Dave brings 15 years of tattooing into his bold, tattoo-inspired paintings, while Bonnie’s hand-built ceramics are inspired by Catholic sacred hearts.

Two different mediums, one shared love of making things by hand.

Come check out their work next time you’re at your local. ❤️ taken in Sonny and Betty by @bonfireceramics
