the last year or so of my life has been the biggest emotional roller coaster of it all. i went through a very tough breakup. debated isolating myself from everyone including my bandmates. suffered from anxiety. tried two separate antidepressants in 6 months. i’ve gotten into heated exchanges with the people i love. just recently here my truck broke down 3 hours away from home. i went from great to horrible in 2 weeks, and ive cried more times than i have in my entire life. it’s really amazing how fast stuff can change.

since then my life has gotten better, although i’m still not where i want to be. i’ve grown for the better, something i didn’t think was possible 2 years ago. i started reaching out to get the help i so desperately needed. went to the doctor, started a new antidepressant, i’ve recently started therapy, started going to the gym. and really locked in on myself.

Kardinal Rose and my 3 bandmates have really helped me the past few months with restarting how i lived my life, this is an appreciation post for those 3 guys who were still all there for me in the worst times of it. while traveling with the band i’ve met people who i’m very proud to call my newfound friends now.

the moral of this is that you are never truly alone, as cliche as it sounds.

i figured there were no better time to post something like this than mental health awareness month.

if you are struggling or often feel worthless, just please reach out to someone. anyone. my dms are always open if any of you need to talk. i will always value your words if you are struggling.

Our debut A/B side singles “Eyes” and “Bend” will be available for sale beginning Saturday, March 7th. These songs were written and recorded entirely ourselves in the comfort of our basement. We truly cannot express how grateful we are to everyone that has supported us so far. We are nothing without the community we surround ourselves with.
