You may wonder “what the heck is this photo quality?!”
Answer: I took all these photos on a thumb-size camera that’s on a keychain… new fav toy to avoid taking my phone out when I want to stay present. by @bonko_

Guess who ran a Marathon! 26.2 miles, baby!
Really thankful for @mariabowker @_claire.radford_ planting the idea, @ari.seay for being a huge support, and grateful because so many people encouraged me along the training journey. This isn’t something a year ago I would’ve considered doing, but I made it!
More than anything, it was really fun setting a goal that I knew would test me and putting in the work to make it happen. I started training by saying I just want to finish (6h30), then aiming for sub-5h, and when race day came around I ran my best ever 6.55mi segment (in the second quarter!), ran my best half time, and then finished my first marathon ( @zeiglerkalamazoomarathon ). If you’re on the fence about going for it, I encourage you to give it a shot and let yourself be challenged by something as simple as putting one foot in front of the other.
Now let’s hope I don’t look too silly walking across the graduation stage Friday. taken in Kalamazoo, Michigan by @bonko_
