“I already get collagen from food.”

You might. But eating collagen-rich foods and supplementing with hydrolyzed collagen aren’t quite the same thing.

Hydrolysis breaks collagen proteins down into much smaller peptides before you consume them, and peptide size and composition influence how they’re digested and absorbed.

That’s also why we don’t believe collagen should be judged by the number of grams on the label alone.
