I wanted to make a post to explain to everyone my recent near death experience and my recovery. For those who don't know, I had a traumatic brain injury a couple weeks ago. I flew down a hill on my skateboard and then flew off. I fractured my skull, causing brain bleeding and a severe concussion. I don't remember the event at all or the 10 hours that followed. I spent a week in intensive care. I had to miss my band's first show because I was in recovery. I'm still in recovery. My skull is still fractured, and is slowly healing. I'm dealing with hearing loss in my left ear, constant dizziness, and pounding headaches. I seem to be slowly recovering from these symptoms but there's also a chance of long term complications. I have to check on my face everyday. If my facial expressions become non symmetrical, that means my brain is bleeding again and I need to go back to the ER. All of that said, I am alive and I am continuing onward with everything I've been working on. The music continues. I just wanted to make everyone aware of my situation, as it's been tiresome to explain it repeatedly and I want my loved ones to know what's going on. I am living and I will continue to thrive.
