Dear Mommy,As I lay here with my stomach in knots & my thoughts silently echoing! I miss you, lady!Nine years ago on today— my life changed in a matter of minutes. Right at the peak of my adulthood I was robbed of a parent, my mom, my nurturer, my first friend, the one who has all the answers. I don’t want to say “my life changed for worse” because that’ll mean I haven’t endured any good since then & that’ll be a complete lie. But it definitely changed me. I dread days like day!
