POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I feel like I’ve waited years to take this photo 😂 I saw this cover of Divine Rivals by @beccajross from @owlcrate and knew it had to be mine 😌

It gives meta energy 😆 my obsession with typewriters continues….

Have you read this? What are your thoughts? I’ve only seen good things so far 👀

“Universal truths in butter. Secrets folded into the dough. Poetry in the spices. Romance in a chocolate. Love in a lemon pie.”

Let’s alter your brain chemistry ✨

This book is my favorite of the year so far 😩 it was just perfect to me. Lemon and Iwan, my heart 💛 @heyashposton you’re a marvel.

And then @msquires_reads1004 worked her own magic on this rebind and I’m in LOVE. Lemons for our Clementine, with some Portuguese tile as a subtle nod to her travels and her aunt. This book also finally convinced me to get my lemon tattoo I’ve wanted for years!!! My heart is happy.

“My Aunt used to say [keep] your passport renewed, to pair red wines with meat and whites with everything else, to find work that is fulfilling to your heart as well as your head, to never forget to fall in love whenever you can find it because love is nothing if not a matter of timing, and to chase the moon. Always, always chase the moon.“

Here’s the synopsis for Ribbonwood, I highly recommend if you like sapphic stories 🥰

Lara Bennett is world-famous in Ribbonwood, population 907. She’s the woman you don’t trust your husband with: a real-life femme fatale. If there’s a scandal in town, she’s at the center of it, ruining businesses, marriages, and egos everywhere she goes, with her sharp tongue and that body that makes you look twice. Besides… didn’t she more or less kill a man?

Ollie Gabrielli left Ribbonwood right after high school, back when Lara was her arch-nemesis. The queen bee and the closeted soccer star: natural enemies. When she comes home for three months it’s to recover from burnout and spend time with her chaotic family, not to reconnect with old classmates. Only somehow, she can’t seem to take her eyes off Lara. How did she only get hotter? And is she really everything they say she is?

Sometimes, there’s a reason you should never try to go home. by @book.biiird

I think I need to find another unhinged read 😆

It seems my brain is punishing me for an excellent May with making me mostly unable to pick up a book and just devour it. I feel like a ridiculous read (like Blood of Hercules or Kiss of the Basilisk) to jumpstart my brain. Any recs? Per Jasmine’s other books. Psycho Shifters is high on the options list 😂

Recently Read ⚡️

Seeing the polarizing views of this book has been rather interesting 😂 I didn’t think it was a masterpiece but I had a great time! I’ve missed the dystopian era we had in the early aughts so this was a bit nostalgic.

I’m curious how book 2 will go, if people will still care to determine who Dani “is”, and if we will now get a new slew of dystopian books? 🧐 time will tell.

Which side of the debate are you on? Did you enjoy this book or no? Vote below ⬇️

Whats a book you hope to read in June? Or your favorite of May?

I hope to read a bunch of fantasy that I’ve been neglecting interspersed with some Pride books!!

I’ve had a very good May in terms of books, and I’m reading Releasing 10 now and it’ll arguably be my favorite, but that’s a hard superlative since it’s also the saddest book I’ve ever read.

Where fantasy meets political intrigue🔺

I’ll admit took a break in the middle of this for a while, I wanted it to have my full attention. But holy cannoli the last quarter of this book was INSANE. We know nothing. I know nothing. Nothing is real. 😆

Until about the last third, my only gripe was that I wasn’t *super* connected to the characters, but it’s genuinely one of the better books I’ve ever read. The world building, the intrigue, the dollop of mystery, and the absolute insanity of the plot was just 🤌🏼

I know it’s fantasy, but this was the most sci-fi leaning fantasy book ever without really tipping over into it. I really should read it again knowing what I know now… but alas, I’ll probably wiki it before book 2 in October 😳
