“Don’t you see that children are God’s best gift? The fruit of the womb His generous legacy? Like a warrior’s fistful of arrows are the children of a vigorous youth. Oh, how blessed are you parents, with your quivers full of children! Your enemies don’t stand a chance against you; you’ll sweep them right off your doorstep.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭127‬:‭3‬-‭5‬

Thank You God. You never fail.

Motown Pt III

This trip was all about prioritizing self and alignment with my goals and visions. Putting plans into action. Simplifying and execution. Learning and growing.

I DID ALL THAT 💪🏼

Tell me I can’t do something (that I’m passionate about) and watch me destroy your every expectation of me 😇

Moving with purpose and can’t nobody take this away from me.

PS go stream Plus One with @darealskoobi

That candy machine in @motownmuseum is ancient. Can you guess what Stevie Wonder’s candy of choice was?

Motown pt II

This trip was CRAZYYYY!!! Grateful for the people and places along my path 🙏🏼

Detroit was a reminder that I can do difficult things and come out on top. I went down there with a vision …well, all those plans fell through and it was entirely out of my control… I had to completely switch it up, and still had the trip of a lifetime.

I recorded a couple new tracks with @mixedbymichael @getfreshstudio, started my podcast @soundmindsanctuarypod (finally), got to explore some incredible music history at the @motownmuseum and dive deeper into the atrocities of African enslavement along with the victories and global contributions of the African diaspora at @thewrightmuseum. Ate lots of bomb plant-based foods (thanks @fireassvegann !) I also had an incredible meditative healing session with @love.oblivion 🤍

I learned a lot about myself and expanded my belief in my own capabilities. I’m on a new level and allowing myself to be. Authentic and unapologetically!!!!

Let this be a reminder that you too can do things beyond what you think you can achieve. Even when times are tough and it feels like it ain’t going your way, we all have the power to transmute, adapt, and make miracles in any situation.

Alignment >>> Speed

Carrying this momentum forward with gratitude.
