In our lead up to our birthday we Brats decided to reintroduce ourselves while reflecting on the past year!!

My favorite book club read: I think it’s “How to Sell a Haunted House” by Grady Hendrix… but as always this question is so hard.
My favorite Book Brat moment: I think the Christmas event was super fun - where we exchanged books for the 12 days of Christmas ! And of course any book club we could be together is a blast 🤍
What I’m looking forward to in the next year: hopefully getting together more often ! Seeing my fellow Brats is always amazing. I’m also excited to see what new ideas we come up with together !
Total books read in the past Book Brat year: 51

Happy Birthday Month!!🥳

Because it’s our birthday month we have decided to reintroduce ourselves.

My favorite book club read: Silent Came the Monster , by Amy Hill Hearth. I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed reading this book 📕.

My favorite Book Brat moment: I loved when we met in person in September and bedazzled our books!!!

What I’m looking forward to in the next year: I would love to take a Book Brats 💜💚🩷 road trip!!! 🚘🛣️

Third time’s a charm. 😜

Final Brat J💚 checking in with my 1 year later “re-intro”.

My favorite book club read: “Let The Great World Spin” by Colum McCann. This was a tough call but this book had everything I look for in a book: extremely well written, strong characters and while I’m reading a desire to never put it down.

My favorite Book Brats moment: When we tried our first craft bedazzling books. I still crack up thinking about all the glue K💜 somehow managed to use. 😂😂😂

What I’m looking forward to in the next year: Besides 12 more months of reading with my book besties?! In addition to that, like L🩷, I’m really looking forward to trying to spend more time in person with the Brats. I’m also looking forward to more book themed crafts.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey over the last year. Connecting with other book lovers is one of my favorite things about having a bookstagram. Can’t wait to see all the shenanigans the Brats get into in year 2!!

I didn’t have time to really invest in finding a book for September book club due to my work schedule. So I thought I’d get the other 2 Brats to help me. I saw this on Instagram at some point. I had 5,721 books on my @goodreads TBR. (don’t judge me 😜) Both of the Brats picked a number between 1-5,721 and based on the corresponding books at those numbers I chose a book.

K💜 picked 9 (it was a 600 page classic) and L🩷 picked 1,327 (it was a 360 page noir murder mystery.). I was torn but went with L🩷’s book for our September book club book “The Man Who Never Returned” by Peter Quinn.

I’ve had this book on my TBR since 2017 so excited to start to read it!! Wonder if this is my new way to try to tackle my TBR. 🤣

Happy Friday book lovers !!! L🩷 here.

It’s time for the big reveal… we will be reading “say you’ll remember me” by Abby Jimenez!

My partner bought me this book in March for my birthday!! I love Emily Henry, and was influenced by J💚 that Abby Jimenez is a great read too!!!

Can’t wait to see what the Brats think of this read! Will it hold up to my Emily Henry standards ? 🤔
