What a beautiful fall day at @ciderhill_farm! We made it in time to catch their Sweet Halloween horse and Alpaca visitors and then went apple picking, enjoyed some apple cider and cider donuts, and ended with a tractor ride around the farm. The foliage in the background made it a perfect autumn day, especially during the drive home during golden hour. 🍂🍁🍎

Nothing like a sunset at the lighthouse... This was from a few weeks ago when the moon was low in the sky on one side of Chandler Hovey Park and the sun was setting on the other side. Absolutely magical!

We were lucky to stay in the seaside @barharborinn1887 this year! Not a good view from the room but check out our view of the ocean at breakfast! One morning we went early enough to catch a hummingbird eating from the flowers outside. We managed to enjoy an afternoon cookie and on one evening some quick s'mores before heading into town. Sadly, we didn't have time to enjoy was the heated outdoor pool. We'll definitely have to come back here soon!

I'm so grateful we made it back to Bar Harbor just in time to redeem our vouchers for @barharborwhales, and we chose the perfect day for a whale watch! Our boat, the AtlantiCat, encountered two beautiful humpback whales who were playing with the seaweed and our hearts by surfacing and diving in an area where there appeared to be no fish! We also had a great view of our hotel from the water.

It was so relaxing to revisit some of our favorite places in @acadianps, from the wonderful views from Thunder Hole and along Park Loop Road, to looking out at Jordan's Pond, to stopping along the road just to catch a glimpse of the scenery. We had just enough time to visit Sand Beach where we met a garter snake before making the drive back home.

There were places where you were so far into nature you could barely hear any human-made noise, which was the best part. I'd take the cacophony of crickets and cicadas over car engines any day.

What an amazing long weekend in Maine. My favorite part was how it started - with corgis from @corgibliss! Nine beautiful doggos lead us through an enchanted fairy forest to find little treasures. By the time we got back, they were all ready for a nap 😴

This made my day! I was helping a patron in the Children's Room and she asked if I'm amazing. I tried to be humble and said I'd like to think so and she gave me this bracelet! 🥰 Some moments at work are truly special 💕
