My absolute favorite trope of all time is Grumpy 😠 X Sunshine 🌞, and this book delivered! 👩‍🍳😘 Theodore AKA Everett AKA Teddy and Winifred AKA Winnie AKA Bubbles have won a special spot in my heart!

Painted Hearts made me smile, laugh, cry, and feel connected with my feminine rage! All of the feels with this one! It is soooo gooood! Such a beautiful masterpiece! 🥲🥰

The banter is on point! I could not get enough! 🙂‍↕️😂

I listened to the audiobook as well while reading, and the narrators both did an excellent job at bringing voices to the characters! 🎧🫠

Also, Bec, girl! I need more! Please, tell me that Chase or Juniper is next to find their significant others in Indigo Lake?!?! 👀🤞

Oh and Betty is a freaking hoot! Can I be her when I am old? She is too much fun! 😜🤣

10/10 recommend! 😁🫡

(18+ because there are a couple of spicy scenes 🤭👏 as well as a little violence).

Ps. It is a rom-com suspense, so be sure to check the trigger warnings just in case. Always read with care! 🫂🫶

The Deal by @ellekennedyauthor is soooo gooood! The Off Campus Series TV adaptation was great, but reading the book was even better! It was interesting to see which parts changed between the book and the show, and I enjoyed every bit of it. I actually could not get enough of Garrett and Hannah's banter! I LOVE it!

18+ because there are some spicy scenes! 🤭

Ps. Make sure you read the trigger warnings! Always read what is comfortable for you! 🫂

10/10 recommend! 🥰🫶

This book is such a super sweet and funny rom-com! 🥰🤣

I definitely recommend it! 😁🫶

You have cat daddy/biker/chef, Liam, and single mom/baker, Aubrey, who is 7 years older than him. 🧍‍♂️😽🐾👩‍👧

They end up in a food competition to see who will win the lease of a commercial property for expanding one of their businesses. 🥩🍔 vs. 🍰🥐

Spoiler Alert: They do a little more than just cooking/baking if you know what I mean! 😉😅

I thoroughly enjoyed the humor, banter, wittiness, sarcasm, spiciness, and fascinating plot of this book! 🫶👏

Vampyre Misery is forced into a marriage with Were Alpha Lowe as a peace agreement. Misery only accepts his hand in marriage in the hopes of finding out information about her missing best friend. 🧐🤨

Tension starts to rise between these two, and it appears to no longer be just a marriage of convenience. 😅🤭

I am a sucker for a down bad MMC, and Lowe is beyond protective and caring toward all of Misery's needs! 👩‍🍳😘

Some of My Favorite Funny Quotes:
“You’re right. I’ve heard amazing things about paragliding, or competitive duck herding. Maybe I could—oh, wait. I forgot that I’m literally stuck in a one-hundred-and-thirty-square-foot bedroom twenty-four seven.” 😏🤣

I absolutely LOVE this book!! It is hilarious, sweet, seductive, and titillating! The banter in this spicy small-town romance is on point! This has easily become one of my favorite books! 🥰🫶

Golden Retriever, Pretty Boy, Cat Daddy, Chef Sutton has no idea what he has done to piss off Black Cat, Edgy, Dog Momma, Barista Kelsey 🙃, but lucky her, he won't stop trying to win her over! 🫠

The gelato scene = 👨‍🍳😘! The hiking scene = 🔥🥵! Not to mention, the motel, their apartments, and all the naughty thoughts in between! 👏👌

Some of my favorite quotes:

“It’s a tie between you and Agnes. It took a while, but I did eventually see her down by the creek. She’s pretty hot for a moose.”

~This time, he wraps it around his wrist like a damn scrunchy.~

10/10, definitely recommend!

I've had the absolute pleasure of beta reading and editing this book! 🥰

This is the 3rd book in the Thornwood Valley Series. It can technically stand alone, BUT I really recommend reading A Fowl Match and A Merry Pair first! You won’t regret it! 😊

Let me start by saying this small-town romance will make you smile, laugh, kick your feet, and even tear up a little at times. A Handy Duo is a sweet, quirky rom-com with all the feels. It's a slow burn that will have you begging for the first kiss, but it's so worth the wait! 👏

Marigold is on a mission to prove that she can take over her family business, Fix-Its Hardware. There is a massive curveball that throws a wrench into her plans, but the town mechanic, Dan, refuses to let her dreams slip away just yet! 🦸‍♂️

I have never read a character that I could relate to more than Marigold. She is a nervous Nellie with social anxiety but is also super thoughtful and caring! She just needs someone to truly accept her and show her what love is. 🫶

And, oh my gosh, Dan! Danny! Tinker Dan! If there was ever a book boyfriend coded in kindness and grand gestures, this is the guy! He's the ultimate cinnamon roll, and the things he does to put a smile on Marigold's face are top notch! 👩‍🍳😘 He is hesitant to fall in love again after having his heart broken by his first love, but once he opens his heart, nothing is stopping him. 🫠

May Marigold always have sour gummy worms 🪱 and Dan never be in short supply of backwards caps! 🧢

Favorite quote: "Life’s all about adventures, Marigold. You must take the brush and paint your own way. No one else can place the strokes on your canvas. Only you have the power to do so. There’ll always be good and bad days. Many times, there’ll be hiccups along the way. If you learn to embrace each one, then you’ll truly understand how to create a masterpiece." 🎨🥹
