New prized possessions - Ashes of Thezmarr set from @fairyloot !
I loved all three of these books by the incredibly talented @helenscheuerer.
This world is definitely an all time favourite of mine and I will demolish each and every piece of it I can!

The special editions are beautiful and so gorgeous altogether.

If you haven’t read the Legends of Thezmarr series yet start there and then dive into these. You won’t regret it! ❤️‍🔥🗡️ taken in BOOKSTA by @bookboundkay

📚 Book Review - Half City - Kate Golden 📚

A gorgeous special edition from my fairyloot sub that I’m absolutely obsessed with. Excited to report the story is just as good as the pretty book. Love when that happens!

I ate this up! It’s fast paced and I really enjoyed it. It reminds me of Shadow Hunters and Buffy in the best way. I cannot wait to see where the series goes.

Have you read this? If you haven’t you absolutely should! taken in BOOKSTA by @bookboundkay

Book review - Out of the Woods - Hannah Bonam-Young
4.5 stars ⭐️

Ahhh I loved this. Hannah Bonam-Young writes SUCH relatable but flawed characters. I loved them, the plot and then also how they worked through everything. I cried and laughed and just really enjoyed this. There were so many lines I wanted to highlight and I just really connected to this story! I will read ANYTHING Hannah Bonam-Young writes.

Book review - The Fifth Season - N.K. Jemisin
5 stars ⭐️

This was phenomenal! I loved this. It’s a little confusing at the start and I was in the glossary and slightly confused for parts of this - it did not take away from the story at all. The world building is incredible and the characters have my whole heart. The way everything comes together and how the ending played out was exceptional. I cannot wait to read the rest of the series and I think it may become one of my all time favourites series. I didn’t want to put this down and I continued to be surprised throughout this.

Series spotlight - Lovelight 🔥

I just finished this series and I loved it! Small town and found family are two of my faves and each book in the series delivers them and more! Cute fluffy romances you must read 🩷💜. The cover art is also stunning.

I love @authorbkborison writing and she is 100% an autobuy author for me! taken in Bookstagram by @bookboundkay

Book review - Butterfly Women - Madeleine Cleary
Aussie fiction based in Melbourne 😍❤️‍🔥

This was so different to most of the books I read. I couldn’t put it down. Each POV felt completely unique and I loved getting to know each and every woman in this story. The setting felt dark and real and I felt like I could picture everything so vividly. The sexism and misogyny from SO many of the male characters made me angry but thats completely saved because 1, its absolutely on purpose and 2 our female characaters are strong and determined to be better than them in every way. The mystery in this was really compelling and I enjoyed how it all was revelaled. I was feeling a little burnt out in my usual genres and this was exactly what I needed.

I read this with @hevsies.reads and @booknerd_ali which definitely added to my enjoyment 😘❤️‍🔥
