first taste of summer☀️⛱️🌊🐚

what an amazing start to the month and to summer! spent the weekend at the beach just enjoying being done with school! i had such a nice and relaxing time:’)

started into the blue on the beach and im superrr intrigued! i’ve heard nothing but great things about it so im excited to see where this book takes me tbh

now it’s back to reality! i’m starting to prep for my classroom & gather supplies! that being said, if you feel inclined, i would love and appreciate any donations you could make to my classroom. being a first year teacher is extremely hard and very expensive, so any help would be much appreciated!! the link is in my bio ☺️🤍

hope you all have a great week!🥂 by @bookedwjules

i was recently blessed with these @burgaofficial cases and i’m actually obsessed with these designs!! burga cases are actually UNMATCHED!! the quality is amazing and i’ll genuinely keep these cases on forever! rumor has it they just launched a black friday sale so now’s the time to go pick up some new cases at the best prices 😼

and finally, a quick look at my netgalley shelf! i’ve gotten a lot of acceptances recently and i am overwhelmed but also so excited for these new readsss :’) if you’ve read any of these, let me know your thoughts!! have a great weekend 💌

last, now, next🍒🕊️📖

reading updates! i fear im catching myself slip into a small reading slump so im really trying to start new books that are going to get me out of it! i haven’t had too much time to read this week because work has been sooo busy, but im trying my best🙂

cursed city was SO good, i fear it’s the reason why im slumping a little bit lol. i started the dead romantics a few days ago, but it hasn’t really hooked me in yet! i’m starting my arc of deeper tides today & im genuinely so excited!! clare gilmore will save the day, trust me!!

my next reads are also so exciting!! i’ve heard nothing but great things about both crooked kingdom & the poison daughter. also, need to finish my acotar reread asap! i’m locking in.

hope you all are having an amazing weekend so far<3 tell me about your current read(s)!🌟 by @bookedwjules

q3 favorites📖

literally still cannot believe that we are in the last quarter of the year! it’s actually insane. q3 was so fun! the end of summer brings lots of emotions but this transition to fall has been amazing. my reading has definitely taken a hit since being in the credential program and starting my first teaching job, but i can confidently say it’s been a quality>quantity year for sure!

i read 20 books in q3:
- 6 of them off my 26 for 2026 (yikes)
- 7 five star reads
- 1 dnf
top 3 books in q3:
-if not you
-grim tidings
-spectacular things

so fun!! i highly recommend these books, they were SO GOOD (and 5 stars OBVI) i can’t wait to see what q4 has in store for me. i have so many exciting reads planned ☺️ let me know your thoughts on these ones🌟 by @bookedwjules

oct hopefuls🕸️🎃🕯️

my favorite time of the year is here & i have such exciting reads planned for this last quarter of 2026! i’m most definitely going to try my best & finish as many books as i can within the next few months because my reading this year has DEFINITELY slowed down but the rate of which i’m buying books has not😄

now, this list is very ambitious. i know. however i don’t care. i will be locking in this month because these books are all so highly anticipated!! i not only want to knock a few off my 26 for 2026 tbr, but i also have a few new releases i’d love to get to! (also finishing an acotar reread will be a challenge but i will do it)

so so excited for spooky month! let me know your thoughts on this tbr & what you plan on reading this month🧚🏼‍♀️ by @bookedwjules

sweet september🍎🕯️☕️🌅

what a month!! my first full month of teaching! overall i had such a busy, stressful, but overall amazing september. i made so many great memories that i know will last with me for a long time.

i read so many great books this month! i was on a rolll! rereading favs, binging anticipated releases, and finding a new unexpected favorite made this reading month amazing. i’m currently still (yeah, still) reading cross check by chelsea curto & dnfed the good parts (let’s talk about it please). all in all, i deem this a very successful reading month!!

stay tuned for a book haul! i FINALLY got my first teaching paycheck and a trip to barnes is in my plans for after work today😆 i can’t wait to finally purchase some trophies for my shelves and grab some new releases i’ve been eyeing!!

hope you all had an amazing month! tell me about your favorite books you read in september 🧚🏼‍♀️ by @bookedwjules

10 books that I’m more than a little ashamed I haven’t read yet🫪

HEAR ME OUTTTT!! I am very aware that I need to read these books and that I have put them on countless tbrs as the months have gone by… but i WILL read them!! eventually :)

real talk though, so many of these books are on my 26 for 2026 physical tbr so i would love to get these read by the end of the year! i just really need the motivation! please please please convince me to read these if you’ve read some of them!

i can’t help it that i love to buy new books & deviate from my physical tbr😔
let me know what you think I should read first!! by @bookedwjules

september so farrr 𖤐.ᐟ

been such a busy but fun month so far!! i’m officially one month into teaching and i’ve had a blast but also am in the trenches being a first year teacher lol… however i’m finally getting into a groove along with my students and i can’t wait to see how much progress we’re going to make over the next few months :’)

as far as reading goes, i think i’m doing good so far!
-the knave and the moon was AMAZING. i love all the characters in the book SO MUCH (except benji, i hate that man)
-if not you was everything i expected it to be. such a perfect fall romance <3
-i did a reread of the love hypothesis for the first time in 5 years and i loved it so much more the second time around!
-only flop of the month so far: i dnfed the good parts… i found it to be extremely boring & i didn’t like either main character… so yeah
-also barely 30% into cross check.. i enjoy them so far but gosh it’s so long lol!!!

anyways!! i started under the iron sky last night & instantly got hooked in! so hopefully it’s good!
hope you all have an amazing dayyy<3 by @bookedwjules

fall tbr time!🌟🍁🕯️

one thing about me, is that i’m gonna make an ambitious tbr list🤭 it just motivates me! there’s so many exciting books on my tbr that i really want to get to this fall season! i’m definitely getting back jnto my fantasy era thanks to the knave and the moon and i think i have plenty of romantasy books on this list to fulfill that void in me🙂

i think this is one of the best tbrs i’ve made tbh! the range from historical fiction to romance to romantasy has me so optimistic for getting through this tbr! i also made sure to include some of my books on my 26 for 2026 tbr as well!

please feel free to yell at me for whichever books you think i should read first!! i need all the encouragement ☺️ by @bookedwjules

what.a.month!! i feel like i lived a million lives in this long, long month. this month was very much filled with classroom prep/the start of school, so i was extremely busy. however, i did spend a lot of time with family & friends, which made it super fun<3

my reading has taken a huge hit this year because of school & eventually work. i only read four books this month but fortunately, i enjoyed them all. i found myself in a bit of a slump throughout the month (i was genuinely reading like 8 books at one time & still am in the middle of 7). however, the second i picked up grim tidings, i was like… SLUMP WHERE???!!! genuinely sobbed at this book and loved it so much, it’s definitely my favorite of the month.

had such a chill weekend now ready for a busy work week! curating my september tbr which i’ll share in a few days😏 fall is so so soon! my favorite season!! have a great week loves!! by @bookedwjules
