Nutrition is such an important part of education, and at Book Drive Africa x The Book Haven Foundation, we believe a well-nourished child learns better, focuses better, and dreams bigger.

As we prepare for Book Drive Africa 2.0, we are calling on sponsors to help provide snacks and beverages for the children attending the drive. A simple drink and snack can make a world of difference to a child spending the day reading, learning, and connecting with stories.

If you would like to sponsor a child’s refreshment package, please send us a DM or email us at bookdrivea@gmail.com.

Help us give the gift of reading and nutrition to children.

CALL FOR PUBLIC DONATIONS!

Somewhere in Lagos, Ibadan, Ile-Ife, or Abuja, there is a child who has never held a book that belongs to them. This June, Book Drive Africa 2.0 is changing that. We are putting books into the hands of children who need them across four cities, and we cannot do it without you.

A donation of any size brings us one step closer. Every book matters. Every child matters.

Help us give the gift of books. 🩵

Book Drive Africa 2.0 is a wrap! 🎉

What a journey it has been.

To every sponsor, donor, volunteer, partner, school, educator, parent, and every single person who cheered us on, shared our posts, donated books, gave financially, showed up, or believed in the vision, thank you.

Book Drive Africa 2.0 happened because of you. Together, we put more books into children’s hands, created spaces for learning, and creativity, and reminded children that every book is a doorway to a bigger world.

As we close this chapter, we’re already looking forward to Book Drive Africa 3.0.

Until then, there are still so many ways to support our work:
• Follow and engage with our posts.
• Tell someone about Book Drive Africa and Book Haven Foundation.
• Donate books suitable for children.
• Partner with us as an individual or organisation.
• Send us an email or a DM if you’d like to support our mission in any way.

Every share, every donation, every conversation, and every act of support helps us reach another child.

From all of us at Book Drive Africa x Book Haven Foundation, thank you for believing in the vision.

Give a Child a Book. Show Them the World. 🧡

At Book Drive Africa x Book Haven Foundation, we created this affirmation frame to remind every child that their voice matters, their dreams are valid, and every page they read brings them one step closer to the world they imagine.

During Book Drive Africa 2.0 in Abuja, our Team Lead, Emmanuel Osi, had a conversation with the leadership of Junior Secondary School, Kurudu, about our vision, mission, and the work we’re doing to make books, reading, and learning more accessible to children.

We are incredibly grateful to Junior Secondary School, Kurudu, for opening their doors and hearts to us, and for welcoming us into their community. Thank you for partnering with us to inspire a new generation of readers, dreamers, and leaders.
