For me this book was an interesting read. It is an insightful and practical book that focuses on the behaviours and qualities that help people become top performers. With the subtitle Discover 15 Behaviors That Define Top Performers, the book explores what it takes to stand out, grow professionally, and become a valuable resource in any workplace.

KAALNETRA is an exciting and beautifully imagined story that keeps you hooked from the very beginning. The storyline is fresh, interesting, and filled with mystery, adventure, and mythology. I especially loved how the author brings ancient elements into a modern setting, making the story feel both familiar and unique.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I absolutely fell in love with this series. After a really long I have read good series. It is the kind of book that pulls you into its world and makes it difficult to put down. As the third book in the *Mars Trilogy*, it takes the excitement, mystery, and adventure to another level. I absolutely loved the storyline—it is imaginative, fast-paced, and filled with twists that keep you guessing about what might happen next.
What stood out to me the most was the **characters**. Each one brings something different to the story, and their personalities, motivations, and choices make the journey even more engaging. I genuinely enjoyed following their struggles, discoveries, and unexpected turns along the way.
The Mars setting adds another layer of excitement. The combination of science, mystery, technology, and human emotions creates a fascinating reading experience. There were several moments where I found myself completely absorbed in the story, eager to discover what would happen next.
I especially loved how the author keeps the suspense alive while continuing to develop the larger story. For me, this was an exciting and immersive read with a storyline that stayed with me even after I finished it.

THE STORY MAP
By
SANDEEP NAIR
.
It is a simple and practical book about the power of storytelling and how a good story can influence the way people think, feel, and act. The book explains that facts and information alone may not always connect with an audience, but stories can make those ideas more meaningful and memorable.
What I liked most is that the author breaks down storytelling into easy-to-understand concepts and gives useful guidance on how to structure and present a story effectively. The ideas can be helpful not only for writers but also for professionals, students, entrepreneurs, and anyone who wants to communicate better.
The writing is clear, engaging, and easy to follow. It feels less like a textbook and more like a practical guide that you can refer to whenever you need to communicate an idea.
Overall, this is an insightful read for anyone interested in storytelling and effective communication.

New for rec for you all.

*Almost, Always* by Christelle Faith is a beautifully titled book that immediately evokes feelings of love, longing, memories, and the complicated emotions that exist in the space between “almost” and “always.” Even from its presentation, the book carries a warm, romantic and reflective atmosphere.
What stood out to me most is the emotional quality suggested by the title. *Almost, Always* feels like a story about the moments we hold close—the people who leave a lasting impression, the promises we make, and the relationships that sometimes don’t unfold exactly as we imagine. The words “almost” and “always” themselves create an intriguing contrast, making you wonder about the fine line between something that nearly happened and something that was meant to last forever.
The cover beautifully complements this feeling. The warm, golden setting, delicate jewellery and soft lighting give it an intimate and nostalgic aesthetic. It feels romantic without being overly dramatic and creates curiosity about the story inside.
Overall, *Almost, Always* looks like a heartfelt read for anyone who enjoys stories centred around love, emotions, relationships and the complexities of the human heart. It is the kind of book that seems likely to leave you reflecting on the people and moments that become a part of us—whether they stay forever or remain an “almost.”

The Crimson Divide
By
Sudhir R Nambiar
.
The Crimson Divide by Sudhir R Nambiar is an engaging geopolitical sci-fi thriller that takes readers to a fascinating and dangerous Mars. As the second book in the Mars Trilogy, it expands the world introduced in *The Mangalyaan Protocol* and explores the growing tensions between nations, alliances, and competing interests on the Red Planet.
What I enjoyed most was the combination of science fiction, politics, mystery, and action. The story moves through shifting alliances, hidden agendas, and secrets that keep the reader curious about what will happen next. The Mars setting is vividly imagined, making the planet feel like more than just a backdrop—it becomes an important part of the story.
The book is ambitious and packed with ideas about humanity’s future, power, survival, and the struggle for control of a new frontier. At times, the geopolitical details can feel a little dense, but they add depth to the narrative.
Overall, an intriguing and thought-provoking read for fans of sci-fi thrillers, space exploration, and political intrigue.

Swallowed
By
Nupur Anand
.
Swallowed is an engaging murder mystery that keeps you curious from the very beginning. The story follows Inspector Intekhaab Abbas as he gets involved in a disturbing case that slowly unfolds into a web of questions, secrets and unexpected turns.
Abbas’s helplessness at times really connected with me when I started this book. The disappearance of his girlfriend or should I say cheating ex girlfriend was a huge deal for his character. I loved the raw emotions of Abbas.
What I liked most about the book is how it keeps the mystery alive without making the language too complicated. The writing is simple and easy to follow, which makes the book a comfortable read even when the subject gets dark and intense. The investigation keeps you guessing, and there are enough twists to make you want to continue reading to find out what really happened.
The atmosphere of the story is also quite gripping, adding to the suspense and making the mystery feel more intense. Inspector Intekhaab Abbas is an interesting character to follow as the investigation progress.
Overall, it is a good choice for readers who enjoy murder mysteries, investigations and suspenseful stories. It is an intriguing read with enough mystery to keep you turning the pages. by @bookinity

I honestly don’t know what category to put this book in...
Mythology? Science fiction? Satire? Alternate history? A little bit of everything, maybe.
Some chapters were really entertaining for me, especially when the narrator gets sarcastic. Other parts took me a little longer because there is so much going on. NASA, aliens, Vyasa, Krishna, technology, Mahabharata, Kurukshetra... my brain needed breaks.
But I liked “Cold Feet” because the title immediately made me think of Arjuna’s situation, and I was curious about how that familiar moment would fit into this completely unfamiliar version of the story.
This line also caught my attention... “I agreed to your plan because you said you wanted the Mahabharata restaging at a broad level.”
That basically sums up Narayan Rao’s problem. He thought he had signed up for one thing and slowly realised that Vyasa had something much more elaborate in mind.
I wouldn’t say every part worked equally well for me. But the concept is so unusual that I was curious enough to keep going.
And honestly... sometimes that’s all I need from a book.

Five minutes
By
Dr. Prashant Nayak
.
This book is a simple yet thought-provoking contemporary romance built around a powerful idea—sometimes, just five minutes can change the course of an entire life. The story follows two young couples through love, friendship, campus life, misunderstandings, separation, and the unexpected consequences of seemingly small moments.
What I liked most about the book is how it makes us look at time differently. Five minutes may seem insignificant in our daily lives, but the story beautifully demonstrates how a brief moment can bring happiness, heartbreak, hope, or even change the direction of someone’s future. The characters experience a range of emotions, making the narrative relatable and easy to connect with.
The writing is straightforward and easy to follow, making this a light and quick read. I also liked the blend of romance, humour, relationships, and meaningful life lessons. The campus setting adds a youthful and nostalgic charm to the story.
More than just a love story, Five Minutes is a reminder to value the moments we often take for granted. It makes you pause and wonder how different life could be if certain moments had happened just a few minutes earlier—or later.
A lovely read for anyone who enjoys simple romance with an emotional and meaningful message.
