***ARC Read***

there aren’t enough words to describe what i feel for these boys and their story. holy bajeebus, what a ride.

i really enjoyed how the story went back & forth between the past and the present. it gave just the right amount of background without dragging the plot out or feeling rushed. what these boys go thru just to be together…it’s a lot. you must check the trigger warnings here. it’s heavy and sad and gruesome.

BUT LET ME TELL YOU WHAT-it is also so fuckin’ steamy hot, sooo filthy…OMG. Cole is a million percent a Daddy and he has zero shame in his game. don’t count Dylan out though…he gets his time to shine and he makes it COUNT hehehehe!

i’m opting to not post any spoilers since this is an ARC and i want everyone to get their chance once this book drops on 11/10/26. @shymurdochauthor, babes, i’m so glad i found you and am SO PROUD of you. your debut novel and you SLAYED! thank you for letting me be a part of your journey. for letting me get to love on these boys before the rest of the world does. it means so much to me.

what a ride! we pick up right here book 1 left off and it’s full steam ahead until the very end.

we forgive you, Ledger…kind of 🤷🏻‍♀️ you made poor af choices and put everyone we love in danger. i’m glad everyone stays mad at you for awhile, you deserved that shit.

Blair girl, what a treat to have so many men love you the way you deserve. i’m still mad at your dad (pretty sure Rhett will always be mad at him 🤣), but he came thru.

i did not see myself loving a dark lumberjack romance duet the way i love this. it’s so good, so spicy, excellent plot…it has all the elements of what i look for in a book. @mtaddamsauthor pat yourself on the back girl!

so, i wasn’t sure what i was getting into with a dark lumberjack romance…but holy shit am i glad i took a chance. the amount of tropes this one book has is outstanding, and worth every delicious page.

forbidden, age gap, why choose, dark & murdery, obsessed MMCs, filthyyyyy spice, wee bit of a twist at the end with the cliffhanger…i devouredddddd it. @mtaddamsauthor SLAYYYYYYED.

Ledger, Wes, Rhett, & Santi…our MMCs who each have their own stories of how they all ended up at Gnarly Pines. Blair, the bad ass FMC, ends up there because well…she’s on the run and Ledger is her…godfather…who she has had a crush on for quite some time. but, he’s forbidden himself to act on anything…🤔😬

things get wild. fast. there’s not ever really a slow point in this book at alllllll. and i LOVED IT.

i already sprinted to book 2 and started it. i gotta know what happens.

and, it’s a perfect read for the fall time.

this book is so freaking good. it’s the perfect end to the duet! at no point did i know wtf was going on or what was going to happen next - it kept me so intrigued i just HAD to see it to the end.

i don’t even want to describe it too much to give anything away…French Mafia mind bending dark drama? and 🥵🥵🥵

Asher & Ivy…what a ride.

ASHERRRRR omg. Ivy girl i am so glad you caved because god DAMN. the burn was so slow i thought i was gonna wither away…and then BAM lets GO.

i don’t even know where to start with this one, because there are so many moving parts and deep dark secrets and a cliffhanger that literally sent me into oblivion. i already started book 2 so…see you there?

i haven’t read a true horror book in some time. there was zero romance here…though i can see how some may disagree with that. there was definitely something between Penny & Adrian. mostly pitch black horror, though. no HEA to be seen here, folks

Penny is a convicted murderer, of men/grapists, so she thinks. Adrian is a correctional officer who happens to be tied to one of her victims. and so begins the horrific story of these two.

it’s hard to read. hard to process. yet…it was needed. Penny is clearly very sick, yet so is Adrian. somehow, even with no happy ending…they got their version of one.

do NOT read this if you are squeamish or in any way uncomfortable with…literally anything.

…and she did the damn thing. baddest, toughest, most amazing FMC i’ve read to date. Emersyn is HER.

this is the third book in the Red Rabbit series, and it’s once again a home run by @devyn.rivers. i legitimately could not put it down (even tho it took me weeks to finish because i was on vacay in NYC and could only read like a chapter a night…and this book is long hehehe).

it’s just SO good. you really need to read the first 2 books to know what’s happening, and it’s worth it. just read them all.

Emersyn’s story is intense, sad, and hard to read sometimes. she went thru it, y’all. none of it was pretty. she should’ve died multiple times. but everyone should know…you can’t take down Theron North’s kid…come on now.

and our MMC’s…Gabriel & Seven…oh. OH. these two men had me ferallllll. they mean business, but also…🥵🫠🤤 one is a consent king and the other has a filthy mouth that just…yeah. while the burn was slow (cause yeah…lots of trauma)…the last few scenes were something else. and now i need moreeee of them. please?

this series should be a tv show. it would actually be so fucking good.

this was…not a fun read. like at all. i was so BOREDDDDD. no spice until 84% in, and it was mediocre at best.

i only kept going because i thought i would get answers to “who” it was…nope. cliffhanger. and i gotta tell you…i do not care enough to pick up the second book 🤷🏻‍♀️

you win some, you lose some. wish the best for the authors and their future endeavors.

what a riiiiiiiideeeee! Aiden & Catriona, i love youuuuuu. lots of intense energy, Irish mafia craziness, arranged marriage, secrets, slow burn into spicy spice…

there’s deep trauma on both sides, which creates quite a lot of tension. yet somehow, these two truly do belong together. and they both step up for each other when it’s necessary for survival.

definitely a fun read! @authornicoleblanchard

absolutely honored to be chosen as an ARC reader for @tltaylorauthor again! i loved The Frequency of Him so very much, and i’d hoped that the next book would be Callum & Lydia…what a DREAM this book is 🥰 while this is the couple i knew i wanted to learn more about, i had no idea what the premise would be. especially since TFOH was so intense.

let me tell you, TL did not disappoint at ALL. this story is unique, while incorporating elements of book one. the characters have this intensity, this fire…while battling something neither of them understand. it’s wild. it’s slow burning goodness. it’s filthy. it’s sweet. there’s a cat…

it took me a moment to figure out who was doing the bad shit, but once it clicked i was just waiting for the bomb to drop so i could scream “i fuckin KNEW IT!” but then the shit didn’t stop. it just kept happening. and then it got scary and sad. i found myself crying several damn times.

i related to Lydia on almost every level. her backstory really sat with me, without going into detail and ruining the story, it was heavy. and everything that Callum was carrying just…oof. you sweet, grumpy pants, sunshine man.

i cannot recommend this series enough. TL is such a lovely human, and a wonderful writer. i can’t wait for Kai & Emery’s story next, and sincerely hope i can be an ARC reader again. thank you, dear one!

Lilith is that light.’

well this was a fun one! it starts out pretty dark, with our FMC Lilith, a severely abused teen, being saved by the one and only Dr. Alaric Lockwood. several years pass, but Lilith…she doesn’t forget him and what he did for her. so she does what every regular gal would do…y’know, just casually move to NYC…and get a job at a hospital…one that a certain doctor works at…and mayyyyyyybe she lives close to him too…and she also jusssst might follow him around and steal his boxers….

anyways, in her very minimal stalking (LMAO), she find out that her doctor has a little secret of his own…

this was a good one. a cool plot with really good spice. @evamarkswrites nailed it!
