POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Have you read Holding Ground, the newest release from @authorpiperrayne? If not, this is your sign to, especially if you’re a fan of small towns and all the quirky people that live in them.

Single dad Elliot wants nothing to do with the woman staying in the bunkie on his property, especially because she’s there on behalf of a big developer that wants to make unwelcome changes to his small town. Unfortunately for him, his daughter takes an instant liking to Emelia. As the chemistry between them grows, Elliot’s walls start to come down even when new discoveries come to light and ghosts from the past reappear.

Holding Ground is so well done. I not only loved everything about the main characters, but the ones we meet around town as well. (Especially the thermos crew!) I liked seeing the relationship between Emelia and Baylor grow separately from the relationship between Emelia and Elliot. The story wasn’t completely predictable like some tend to be.
This book was so darn good and I can’t wait to see what the other Mercers get up to!

Thank you so much for the ARC, @authorpiperrayne. I apologize for the late post. Life with a new baby kicked my butt! by @bookish_bs

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- Love Felt Like This by @julieoliviaauthor

The inside of Julie Olivia’s brain must be full of pure magic because that’s the only explanation for how she writes the wonderfully creative stories that she does.

Love Felt Like This is such a fun and unique book with a story that captures you from the first page. A children’s show puppeteer and a single dad rockstar? Truly a one of a kind book in the very best way. While reading, I found myself repeatedly wishing that I could turn Birds on the Block on for my kids or that I could listen to a Griffin Harvey album because these characters came across so REAL. Seriously, I don’t know how she comes up with her story ideas, but A+++.

I think in romance books is rare to get a completely unique story and this one was a fantastic surprise. If you’re looking for all the things you love from romance books with a refreshingly new story, definitely pick up Love Felt Like This.

A huge thank you to @berkleyromance and @netgalley for the ARC. by @bookish_bs

TODAY IS THE DAY! Screaming a HAPPY RELEASE DAY to @authormaggiegates because Blue Jean Summer is finally here!

Now you too can fall in love with Hayes, Catherine, and Honey Hollow ❤️ Blue Jean Summer has everything you could want from a Maggie Gates book. Childhood friends enter in to a marriage of convenience to save the Estate that they both love, complete with found family, some “That’s my wife” moments and a healthy dose of cowboy butt appreciation.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Blue Jean Summer has everything I’ve come to love and expect from a Maggie Gates book…..and she went and exceeded those expectations. Blue Jean Summer was truly the perfect summer read that had me wishing I could take a trip to Honey Hollow in real life.

Maggie truly created a place that I wish existed outside of her imagination and the words on a page. She paints the picture of this small town that feels so incredibly real that you find yourself wishing you could stop by the Moo Brew to grab a coffee or go to Ranch Dressing for a new outfit. The Wilder Estate had such a nostalgic feeling of going ‘home’.

Hayes and Catherine are such special characters. What started as a mutually beneficial agreement became a real and genuine relationship. I loved that we got to watch it grow from just a connection to a relationship that you know would make it for the long haul. Both characters were willing to do whatever they could to make things better for and support the other and it was fun to watch them pine after each other and deny their mutual attraction along the way.

Overall, Blue Jean Summer was so well written and made me fall in love with an entirely new batch of characters and was the perfect read to make that summertime feeling last a little longer❤️

Available in ebook, audio, or paperback from your favorite bookstore.

I’m a firm believer that you can tell a lot about a person based on what photos you find in their camera roll-what they like, what’s important, things they find interesting or want to remember. I think it’s so fun to imagine what photos you’d find in the phone of your favorite characters.

What do you think Hayes and Catherine’s camera roll would look like in Blue Jean Summer by Maggie Gates?

Hayes doesn’t come across as the type to take a lot of photos (he is older 😉)…..until he reconnects with Catherine and they strike their deal. Then I’m sure his photo gallery would be FILLED with pictures of Catherine……even if this is just a marriage of convenience.

I think Catherine is just like any other girl and has the typical photos we all have (pictures of our coffee or latest manicure) but she’ll also have pictures of the animals and super sneaky pictures of Hayes (You can’t let your fake husband know how much you like him, obviously)

We’re just a few days away from the release of Blue Jean Summer and this may be one of Maggie’s best books yet!

Blue Jean Summer is book 1 in the Wilder Estate Series by Maggie Gates from @berkleypub @berkleyromance. It’s an age gap, cowboy romance with a marriage of convenience and so much more. Releasing September 15, 2026.

Happy Release Day, @liladawesromance!!
Resonance, the third book in the Cowgirls Do it Better series is now available!

I’ve been patiently waiting for Maddy and Leo’s story since they were first mentioned in Redemption and it was well worth the wait! I loved seeing how their friendship came to be and how it grew as the years went on. They made so many sacrifices for each other and were truly soulmates in every way. I didn’t want this book to end because I wanted more of their hard earned HEA.

I can’t wait to see which sister gets her cowboy and book next! by @bookish_bs

Getting some reading and baby snuggles in while my big girls squeeze in some pool time before it closes for the season (Which is honestly LAME because we live in Southern California and it stays hot until October/November)

Currently reading an ARC of Resonance by @liladawesromance. I adore this series and I’ve been patiently waiting for Maddy and Leo’s story and let me tell you, IT’S SO GOOD 🔥
