a little update 🥰✨ it’s finally summer, so there is lots happening over here! Jessica graduated from college!! She is spending the summer traveling and doing some freelance journalism in the area. We couldn’t be more proud 🥹 Hannah is studying abroad in Lyon for the summer and has been living her best life! review~the roommate rule 📷✨ forced proximity, best friend’s brother, and one bed 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Genuinely one of my favorite books. I loved the concept, the characters, the writing style… honestly, everything about this worked for me. Dylan was SUCH a relatable character, and I loved watching her grow throughout the trip. Her journey felt so real, learning to take up space, ask for help, and go after things because she wants them. Her growth was definitely the heart of the story, but somehow Max completely stole the show for me by the end. What I loved most about Max was that his character development wasn’t obvious at first. It was subtle, foreshadowed the entire time, and then suddenly everything clicked into place in the best way. He learns to slow down, be vulnerable, and give himself kindness instead of constantly pushing forward, and it was handled so well. And the chemistry??? OFF. THE. CHARTS. Their relationship starts as friends, but it becomes something so much deeper and is seen in the way they care for each other. It felt wholesome, emotional, and genuinely believable. The Wales setting was also PERFECT. Cozy, adventurous, and full of charm. This book genuinely made me want to book a trip to Wales immediately. The travel influencer/brand trip storyline was such a fun and unique concept, and even though I had a feeling where the story was heading, I was still completely invested the entire time. This book is 100% worth your time if you love books with forced proximity and LOTS of character growth, and I already know I’ll be thinking about it for a long time. once upon a time, in a land long since burned to ash… 🗡️❤️‍🔥✨ I can’t believe I’ve already finished this series 😭 it quickly became a favorite, and I’m genuinely so sad to leave this world and all these characters behind. TOG series wrap-up (spoiler-free thoughts): ✨ Throne of Glass — 3⭐️
the perfect introduction. the plot pulled me in and the characters had so many layers!! Celaena wasn’t my favorite at first, but she grew on me SO quickly ✨ Crown of Midnight — 4⭐️
I could not put this down. a bit slow at parts with all the buildup, but that reveal?? absolutely shook me ✨ Heir of Fire — 4⭐️
struggled a little with the POV switches, but I loved this one so much. Rowan was everything I needed ✨ The Assassin’s Blade — 3⭐️
glad I read it, but it wasn’t my favorite. still loved learning Aelin’s past… and cried over Sam ✨ Queen of Shadows — 4⭐️
straight back into the action!! new characters, new POVs, nonstop chaos. I flew through this ✨ Empire of Storms — 5⭐️
MY FAVORITE. I was obsessed. tandem read with TOD was the best decision ever! romance, drama, heartbreak, that ENDING… ✨ Tower of Dawn — 4⭐️
slower paced, but such a needed balance to the series. Yrene might be one of my favorite characters ever, and her and Chaol just worked so well ✨ Kingdom of Ash — 4⭐️

march wrapped 🧸💐🧺 We had such a great month! Jessica turned 21 (🥳) and we got to celebrate all together!! 💕reading: Somehow, I managed to finish the throne of glass series this month (how is it already over 😭) which I LOVED, I’m shocked I put it off this long! ✨watching: Lots of shows which is surprising for us, we are definitely movie people. Then Jessica went to see the notebook the musical which we have all been obsessed with! She loved it and inspired Hannah and I to get some tickets for this summer 🥰 💕listening: Luke Combs new album has been on repeat, it’s so good! Jessica and Hannah are seeing him in concert this week ☺️ ✨snapshots: Very busy!!
