Exciting new read!
Absolutely enjoyed the Norse and Viking vibes as well as the world I got sucked into.

This time every year I start my Lord of the rings marathon, and this book got me in my Lord of the rings feels.
Also my birthday month has had some amazing book realses, I pretend it was all for me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

You may ask what this book and my motorcycle have in common? Absolutely nothing.
But this book has lived rent free in my brain and under my helmet these last few days.
There are not enough stars in the galaxy to pull in for this review.
You get painful heart pounding yearning, unimaginable forbidden love, mystery and spook and a bad night's sleep because you will need to finish all at once.
So if you like all that and your men in kilts??? Then please read this book

I planned on making my first video review but I'm not as brave as bloom. I just got back from a motorcycle ride but honestly? My heart was already racing because of this book.
Veins of Power.
It's the cure for your reading slump.
The slow burn and yearning in this book is pure tension, and I am obsessed.
The betrayal. The love. The mystery. The deception. The political system…
EVERYTHING.
And Lyra and Talen’s push and pull? I was longing right along with them.
And the dragons? 🤫🤫🤫🤫 I will spoil nothing But that ending…THAT CLIFFHANGER?!
I need book three NOW.
Because the ache I feel now that this book is over? Consuming.
Do. Not. Sleep. On. This. Book.
If you love dragons 🐉 a war college, unique magic system ✨
And true true slow burn and yearning but you shouldn't? Then this is for you.

Absolutely enjoyed this ARC.
The description of the island was very well written. I felt like I had washed ashore myself.
Mixed with a tiny bit of suspense, mystery and just enough heat to simmer ones tea, was just what I needed to get out of my reading slump.
I give this one a 5 star..fish

A redheaded lady with no memory washes up on a mysterious island....
Naturally, the first thing she encounters is a crazy, brooding, insufferable cranky silver fox who is entirely too attractive for someone who clearly has the emotional availability of a locked chest 🥵
Our FMC has no idea who she is, where she came from, or how she ended up with a giant gaping wound
but apparently losing her memory did NOT take away her attitude. 😂😂😂😂
She’s feisty, chaotic, restless, and about as subtle as her fiery hair. She cannot sit still. She cannot be left alone
And she definitely cannot stop poking at our grumpy island-dwelling MMC and all his deliciously mysterious secrets.
The tension between these two is THICK. Thicker than dragon scales. The forbidden yearning? Delicious. The forced proximity? Dangerous. The mystery? Edge of your seat. The stakes? HIGH.
And then there’s the silverware.🥄Don’t ask.
Just know… the silverware has a role to play. 😂
But my favorite unexpected character? The sourdough starter. Our FMC is understandably suspicious.
“So… it’s alive?”
Ma’am. You have lost your memory, washed ashore with a mysterious wound, moved onto a secretive man’s island, and are developing inappropriate feelings for the beastly man keeping you there.
And the sourdough is where you draw the line? 😂
This book has everything and is everything you need to read

Kickstarter starts October 1. Make sure you are following it so you don't miss out on An AWESOME opportunity to purchase the beautiful sprayed edge edition of this book :)

This is it....this is the end, the final chapters of our beloved princess and her king.
My tissues are already, my tea Is strong, my family is neglected ( only kidding, of course I meal prepped for this one so I could hide away under the covers all night)
I am off ....scared of the unknown and frightened that this author holds my heart and emotions.
But like J.R.R Tolkien once said
"Fantasy is escapist, and that is its glory. If a soldier is imprisioned by the enemy, don't we consider it his duty to escape?. . .If we value the freedom of mind and soul, if we're partisans of liberty, then it's our plain duty to escape, and to take as many people with us as we can!"
J.R.R. Tolkien

Speechless.... The first book was so powerful and now reading this backstory of our Draven and his story has me even more excited for book two 🥹
If you have not read book one "A Requiem for Fallen Stars" you must add it to the tippy top of your TBR.
You can thank me while I sit here not so patiently waiting for book 2🤣

‘I learned long ago that the horrors we hide within our minds are never destroyed—we merely save them for later. They always find their way to surface.’

My son Rohan is obsessed with trees ( like he has to say goodnight and blow them kisses every night) so for his second birthday I am picking up crocheting again today. I would love to listen to audiobooks as I do so. Please send me your favorite ones to listen to.

How stunning is this cover???? 😍😍 Now that I'm able to read again without getting nauseous ( first trimester bye ) I squealed when I saw this arc waving at me in my inbox!!!
So excited to dive In and get lost in a new world.

She expects a prince. She gets the Dark Commander.
Zevayr is ruthless, unyielding, and a stormwielder with a reputation soaked in blood. He is everything Mayah was taught to fear. Yet as they race across rebel-torn lands, the less certain she is of where the monster ends and where the man begins.
In Arbinj’s glittering courts, the Rebellion surges and dangerous secrets stir from Mayah’s past—secrets that could shatter her kingdom, and her heart, if she lets them.
