💚 Never Been Tamed Review 💚

Never Been Tamed is the second book in the Heartstone Ranch series by @corinnemichaels. This book gets all of the stars! I loved returning to Heartstone ranch and the Stone family because they are a hoot!

Harper is a people pleaser and finds herself being selfless when it comes to her family. She is essentially the caretaker for her dad who is one of my favorite characters. She is small but feisty which I loved.

Ares is the new doctor in town and it’s not because he wants to be but because he has to. He never planned to stay but Harper changed everything. With her help he was reminded that family matters and that work doesn’t have to take priority. This man stole my heart. He was so stubborn but had such a loving heart.

Harper and Ares had fantastic chemistry and witty playful banter even from the very beginning. They may have started fake dating but the more time they spent together the more real it became.

The audio was narrated by Desiree Ketchum and @jasonclarkereads in duet style. These two together were so fantastic! Jason’s portrayal of Ares' vulnerability really hit me in the feels and Desiree had a very playful tone with Harper that I absolutely loved.

Happy Finley and Lincoln day!!

Falling for Her by @natashamauthor is out TODAY!

You guys will not want to miss this one! I literally listened the the ALC in a single day because it's just that captivating! Also who can resist the audio when @narratedbyteddyhamilton and @ms_brentmoor are involved as narrators! My review will be coming shortly but I couldn't resist shouting it out now!

✨ Book Review ✨

The Last Goodbye is the second book in the Blue Sky Bay series by @laurapavlovauthor. Oh how I have missed this town and the people in it!

Bass is a chef and owner of Bennett’s on the Bay! He is grumpy, stubborn, caring, protective and seriously so swoony. Bass really tried his best to dislike Briar and kept assuming that her life was easy because of what she currently but he couldn’t have been more wrong. He quickly discovered that the more he learned about Briar the more he started to care for her. This man is so selfless and would do anything for the people he loves. I honestly couldn't help but fall for McGrumpy!

Briar is a real estate attorney at her fathers company. She is confident, honest, sweet, friendly and strong. She was only supposed to be in town long enough to get Bass to sell his restaurant to her father’s company but ended up falling in love with Blue Sky Bay and a certain grumpy chef. She has such a good heart especially with having a heartbreaking backstory. I love that the second she comes into town Gracie and Tatum take her under their wing and find that she easily fits in with their found family.

I find myself falling in love with this town and the people in it the more the series goes on and we are only on book two! I am so looking forward to the next book and the couple that is coming up as well as another future couple that I am SO excited for.

✨ Book Review ✨

Savage Heart is the first book in the Harrington Ranch series by @willowaster. Grab your tissues friends because you are going to need it! I honestly full on sobbed multiple times reading this book and ended up giving myself a headache (🙈). In all honesty I was hooked from the prologue and read the entire story in one sitting.

Maverick, Iris and Lincoln had been best friends since elementary school but that all changed after a car accident during their senior year of high school. That accident changed all of their lives. My heart literally hurts just thinking about Iris and all of the things she had to go through after that day. Twelve years have passed and the town never lets her forget about the accident. She is a single mom to her son Linc and is struggling to make ends meet but she does what she can to make sure her son has the best life. She is incredibly strong and resilient with such a loving heart. Linc was such a good kid and he honestly stole the show at times.

Maverick became a shell of a man after the accident and unfortunately let the anger as well as grief consume him. He had always been there for Iris when she needed him growing up but when she needed him the most he turned his back on her. The twelve years did little to damper his distaste for her but he also still deeply cares and loves her. Once he lets his walls down and discovers the truth he was willing to do anything to make it up to her for the time they lost out on as well as protect her.

This was a beautifully written emotional story and is definitely a new favorite of mine!

✨ Book Review ✨

The One-Night Secret is the fifth book in the Steele Brothers of Starlight Cove series by @brighton_walsh. When we found out in the last book there was a SECRET BROTHER I screamed. I was so excited for it and I literally consumed this book so quickly because I did not want to put it down.

As much as I don’t like picking favorites, Maverick Steele Holt is officially my favorite Steele brother. I can’t help but love a man whose love language is acts of service. Maverick came to town looking for answers about his dad but instead found a home and family with Rowan and her boys. He is grumpy as f*ck but is a fierce protector. I loved seeing his interactions with Knox, Holden and Crew. They wore this poor man down and I loved their bantering.

Rowan is a fierce single mom who takes no shit. She has her walls up high due to an ex but somehow Maverick got around them and snuck his way in. She is the type of mom who would sacrifice everything for her kids and Maverick shows her that she doesn’t have to do everything alone. I also love how playful she is with her boys.

The epilogue had me simultaneously crying and I screamed at the last second because WHAT COULD IT MEAN! I mean I know now but I can’t wait for everyone to read this and hopefully freak out alongside me! I am looking forward to what Brighton has in store for us next!

The audiobook is narrated by @rosediorovo and @jamescassidyromance in duet style! Dear lord these two were absolutely perfect at not only depicting Rowan and Maverick but Rowan’s boys (Knox, Holden and Crew) and the rest of the Steele family! I ended up literally crying from laughter at times especially when Crew was involved in a scene! Pure gold! These two honestly made me feel so many emotions and kept me wanting more.

You will enjoy this book if you like the following:

- Forced proximity
- Found family

Tonight I had the best time celebrating the release of The One-Night Secret by the one and only @brighton_walsh along with @lbdunbarwrites moderating the event!!

It was a lot of fun with lots of laughs and some secrets that are SO exciting!! 🤭

The One-Night Secret come out October 1st and you will 100% want to check it out. I was lucky enough to get an ALC and if you are an audio lover the audiobook is a must!! by @bookishlyhaley

✨ Book Review ✨

Robbin’ the Rich is the third book in The Grimm Reapers series by @fatgirlsinfiction. This book was such an easy read for me and I enjoyed every second of Robin & Micah’s story!

Robin is a little hard around the edges and doesn’t let people in easily but somehow sweet Micah found his way into her heart. Micah has had his eye on Robin for months and has been crushing hard from afar. The two never connected (although Micah had tried) until one Halloween a bassist dressed as a priest caught the eye of a hot nun. The rest was history! Robin was a bad*ss with a heart of gold! Trusting doesn't come easy for her but with Micah she trusts him from the start which made their third act break up brutal for me! Micah was a total green flag, golden retriever who is also a tatted nerd which made me love him even more. Honestly, these two were so cute together and had immediate chemistry which I was so here for.

One thing I love about Mary’s writing is not only that she does not shy away from hard topics but is also inclusive to all and writes really relatable characters.

You will enjoy this book if you like the following:
