This book is raw and real. The hardest parts of life and the ugliest sides of ourselves are on full display in this marriage in crisis. The pain, heartache, forgiveness, and growth woven throughout this story are truly beautiful.

Ashley’s writing always captivates me. Even when I’m angry with a character, I’m still all in! This book had me in tears by the end, and I’m genuinely so impressed with how she pulled everything together.

Not only did this book give me Peter and Sarah’s story, but we also get a more in-depth look into Cooper’s mind. On top of that, the whole gang is navigating this healing journey together, and it honestly made me want to do a complete reread of the series.

Book One in A Redemption and Ruin Duology

Grace finds herself witnessing a murder and is suddenly wrapped up in mafia drama, forcing her to flee to avoid being murdered herself.

This book is so unique in the way Carrie weaves Christian themes throughout a mafia story. Grace flees to all these different places where she has served on mission trips, and you get to see how her faithfulness throughout her life has impacted these relationships and the lengths these people are willing to go to help her.

Rafe, who is reluctantly involved in his family’s business for only one reason, finds himself hunting down Grace. This cat-and-mouse game was so interesting to follow.

✨September Recap✨
It’s the last day of September! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary this month, along with both of our birthdays. My third-born graduated to his next belt in taekwondo, and we went to see The Toad and the Frog at the Nashville Children’s Theatre.
A month full of exciting things and a lot of everyday moments, too!
✨ Did we have any of the same reads this month? Or What was one of YOUR favorites from this month?
I listened to two audiobooks. One was a relisten because it is just that good! I had one ARC read and one new to me author. Overall, a very fun reading month! ✨
