Meet the Bookstagramer 🦋🤍
I'm Bobby, I'm 29 from Staffordshire!
I'm new to reading, have an extortionate TBR in the past few months!

I have two children and a cat😻
I also enjoy walking/nature and Netflix binging! As well as going to concerts and gigs🎶

Hoping to make some new friends 🥰🥰

Hi everyone!
I'm back and hoping to be more active soon now that baby Fox has arrived. I've been in a terrible reading slump since having a difficult pregnancy but now he's here, I'm slowly finding the time to get back into my TBR!
Excited to be back, lots of content to come since I've had SO many deliveries and subscriptions 🥰 by @bookishwithbobby

Eeeek, finally a Mrs!!💍🥂
🤍🤍🤍
I see us in black and white
Crystal clear on a starlit night
In all your gorgeous colors
I promise that I'll love you for the rest of my life
See you standin' in your dress
Swear in front of all our friends
There'll never be another
I promise that I'll love you for the rest of my life

#ad | A little bit of autumn magic 🍂🤎✨

Slow Sundays, cosy blankets, stacks of romance books and the prettiest little details. 📚☕️

There's something about this time of year that makes me want to curl up with a good book and forget about the world for a while. 🥹

And my gorgeous new silver heart necklace from @abbottlyon is the perfect little addition to my cosy season favourites! 🤍💍

Because what's a cosy reading day without a little sparkle? ✨

Tell me, are you a cosy autumn reader or do you prefer reading in the sunshine? 👀🍁

🍂📚✨ OCTOBER READING WRAP UP ✨📚🍂

Apparently October was the month of quality over quantity because we only managed TWO books 😂😭

🧪 The Love Hypothesis — Ali Hazelwood ⭐⭐⭐.5

A 3.5⭐ read for me! Not a bad book by any means, but it didn't quite reach that five-star obsession level. Still, a cute little romance to add to the October reading list! 🩷

🌲 Among the Screaming Trees — Elle J. Brae ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Now THIS was more like it! A solid 4⭐ read and definitely my highest-rated book of October! 🖤🌲

So… TWO books finished, no five-star reads, and apparently my reading era decided to take a little holiday this month 😂📚

September gave us the five-star obsessions, October gave us a slower reading month… but we're still counting it as a win! 🥹✨

Here's hoping November brings more books, more obsession and maybe a few five-star reads?! 👀🖤

How many books did you manage to read in October?! 🍂📖

Vinted Mini Haul 🖤💀
I cannot even explain how excited I am to start these! Peter Pan is my FAVOURITE Disney character 🤭

Have you read these series yet?

Oh. My. God.
This book wasn't what I was expecting at all! In the absolute best way, of course because I couldn't put it down. PS, it basically starts with a Primal Hunt in the woods with masked men 🤭
⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
ARC Review @elle.j.brae.author
💚
I'm not normally a fan of more than two MCs in a Why Choose because realistically how many places do we have right? (😂) but omg, the way this was written and the way each MCs was completely different, I was OBSESSED from the start?! The way Elle wrote each of them was perfect and she could have given us 20 MCs and I know I'd have still loved every single one and still want more.

I physically can't choose a favourite MC, it's a Why Choose for a reason! But I loved Foxglove so much, he has so much trauma and that makes him ever so caring and careful with Aspen, he's the most gentle hidden behind anger. Elijah gave me actual Elijah Mikaelson vibes and I am not mad about that AT ALL, I love a suit daddy 👀🤭😂

The story follows Aspen as she joins Wylden for her studies. However, she's looking to continue her parents work and find out all the secrets that come along with it in the underlying mysteries and unanswered questions she's desperate for answers to.

This does end on a cliffhanger, however it's a good one! (And book two comes out in March!). It'll leave you literally begging for more, I'm literally not gonna be able to stop thinking about this one!

Thankyou so much for the ARC @elle.j.brae.author, huge apologies for the late review 💚🖤🌲🪾 by @bookishwithbobby

AD | Gifted Collab 🫶🏻💕

Okay, now that you've had a little sneak peek, it's time to show you these beauties properly!! 🥹📚

I was very kindly gifted this gorgeous personalised mug and sign from @calliegifts, and when I say I'm OBSESSED, I genuinely mean it!! 😭💗

I got to personalise everything myself, from the designs and little details to the animated character that looks just like me! And can we PLEASE appreciate how adorable they both are?! 😍

But there's one little detail on the sign that means more to me than I could ever explain. 🥹

If you look closely, you'll see a tattoo on my little character. It's an almost identical recreation of my real tattoo, which I have in memory of my beautiful little boy who was stillborn. 🤍🪽

When I saw that they'd managed to include something so incredibly personal and meaningful to me, I genuinely cried. 😭

It's such a tiny detail to some, but to me it means absolutely EVERYTHING. Having that little piece of him included in something so special is something I'll treasure forever. 🤍

The quality, the personalisation, the attention to detail... I honestly couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! 🥹💕

And of course, I've got a little treat for you too!!

You can find their website through my Linktree in my bio! 💗

A massive thank you to @calliegifts for these beautiful gifts. They've genuinely made my heart so happy. 🥹🤍

🚩 I LIKE MY RED FLAGS BLACK. 🖤

Masked men? 🎭
Stalkers? 👀
Horror circuses? 🎪
Captor/captive chaos? ⛓️
The thrill of the chase? 🔪

Apparently, the darker the fictional man, the more I'm interested. 🚩🫣

And when it comes to morally BLACK men, Jodie King really said hold my beer. 🥀

Forget morally grey… we're way past that point. 🖤

So tell me, which red flag is your favourite in FICTION? 👀👇🏼

⚠️ These books contain EXTREME dark themes. Please check content warnings before reading!
