Oh, Rebecca Yarros, you have absolutely SPOILT us with this one!! 😭🔥 I went into Threshing Day with ridiculously high expectations, and somehow it gave me EVERYTHING I wanted and MORE!!

RIDOC!!! 😂💀 This man was EVERYTHING! His POV absolutely lived up to my expectations. The humour, the chaos, the personality!! I'm sorry, but Ridoc and Aotrom NEED their own book because I could happily read an entire novel of those two causing absolute mayhem! 😂🐉

And then we have Liam and Sloane... and suddenly I'm an emotional wreck. 😭💔 That final sentence in Liam's POV absolutely CLENCHED my heart. The PAIN!! And Sloane... oh, sweet Sloane. I just wanted to climb into those pages, wrap my arms around her and somehow hug all that grief away. 🥹 Although... are we sensing a little romance blossoming there despite her very determined denial?! 👀😏 Because I have QUESTIONS!!

AND IMOGEN?! 🤯🐉 Well, well, WELL!! Let's just say I had a few thoughts about how things unfolded with her bonding... and then when she channelled and her signet manifested?! 👀🤔 My brain immediately started connecting dots. PLEASE tell me I'm not the only one thinking things?!

This book was everything I hoped it would be. The nostalgia, the laughter, the heartbreak, the little revelations and getting to spend more time with characters I absolutely adore. I devoured every single page and genuinely didn't want it to end. ❤️‍🔥

And now?! THE WAIT FOR BOOK FOUR CONTINUES!! 😭🐉 Rebecca, I'm ready. My heart probably isn't, but I AM!!

The excitement I have for finally getting to read a chapter from Ridoc's POV in Threshing Day! 😍🐉 One of my absolute favourite characters in the Empyrean series! His humour, quick wit and perfectly timed sarcasm never fail to make me laugh, even when everything around him is in absolute chaos! 😂❤️ I cannot WAIT to get inside this man's head because I just KNOW it's going to be entertaining! 📖✨

Oh, Eli and Penny… you two absolutely stole my heart! 🥹❤️

I absolutely LOVED this book! One minute I was laughing out loud, the next my heart was breaking for Eli.

There was something so incredibly endearing about his vulnerability. Beneath all that humour and charm was a man carrying so much hurt from his childhood, terrified of expressing the very emotions he so desperately wanted to feel. Watching him struggle to understand and communicate his love genuinely broke my heart. 🥺

And the way he cared for Penny?! THAT MAN! 😭❤️ Such a gentleman in so many ways, with so much tenderness and thoughtfulness behind his actions, even when he couldn't find the words.

But can we PLEASE talk about the humour?! 😂 The banter between Eli and Penny was absolute GOLD. The quick-witted comebacks, the teasing, the chemistry… I was living for every second of it!

And "I ate an apple"?! 🍎💀 I was absolutely ROARING! If you know, YOU KNOW! 😂

This book had the perfect balance of laugh-out-loud chaos, swoon-worthy romance and those unexpectedly tender moments that leave your heart aching.

Eli and Penny have officially earned themselves a very special place in my bookish heart. ❤️

Please tell me I'm not the only one who completely fell for this?! And can we collectively appreciate THAT apple moment?! 🍎😂

✨ THE MAASVERSE HAS LEFT ME EMOTIONALLY RUINED! 🔥😭

O.M.G. I've FINALLY finished House of Flame and Shadow and WHAT A BOOK… WHAT A SERIES!! ❤️

The twists, the revelations, the heartbreak, the friendships… this book had me feeling absolutely EVERYTHING!

And THAT scene towards the end (no spoilers 🤫), when everyone came together… I had goosebumps! It was so beautifully written and captured one thing perfectly…

Through love, all is possible. ❤️

Friendship, family, mates, loyalty and sacrifice. The love these characters have for one another had me in an absolute CHOKEHOLD! 🥹

And JESIBA… oh, my heart. 💔 A character with so many secrets and so much more beneath that guarded exterior. Her story and the lengths she was willing to go for someone she believed in genuinely broke me. Some of the greatest acts of love need no words. ❤️

And THE CROSSOVER?! 🌌🔥 Absolutely EPIC! The way those worlds intertwined has made me even MORE excited for the next ACOTAR instalment!

I'll admit, I was so dubious about starting Crescent City. The modern fantasy world took some getting used to, but MY GOD, I'm so glad I stuck with it!

Somewhere along the way, these characters became MY people, and now I feel like I've said goodbye to a family I was part of. 🥹

@sarahjmaas , you absolute living legend! You've done it AGAIN. Left me emotionally exhausted, ridiculously attached to fictional characters and suffering from the mother of all BOOK HANGOVERS! 📚💔

I'm SO close to finishing House of Sky and Breath and OH. MY. CAULDRON! 😱🔥

The drama, the tension, the secrets!! SO much is happening with EVERYONE, and I swear every character is levelling up as we hurtle towards what feels like an absolutely explosive finale! 🤯

Trying desperately to keep this spoiler-free, but DAMN, I am ENTHRALLED!!

Hoping to finish before tomorrow night's shift… although at this rate, sleep might have to take a back seat! 😂📚

Why I’ve been a little quiet lately…

Apparently I’ve been too busy sipping coffee by Venetian canals, rating pasta by the bowlful, wandering cobbled streets like I live there and romanticising absolutely EVERYTHING. ☕🍝🇮🇹

Books were still packed, obviously… I have priorities. 😂📚

Anyway, I’m back now. Slightly more caffeinated, approximately 70% pasta and already missing Venice. 🤎✨

25% into House of Flame and Shadow and I am LOVING this. The crossover of worlds, the little Maasverse connections… I’m completely obsessed. 😭✨

And Nesta + Bryce?! These two feel like carbon copies of each other dropped into different Maasverses — the attitude, the fire, the stubbornness, the sheer don’t tell me what to do energy. 😂🔥

Put them together and they’re an unstoppable force of chaos and I am HERE FOR IT.
