Comic Sans. The font designers love to hate… but the story behind it is actually wild 👀

It started with a cartoon dog, a very questionable choice of Times New Roman, and one designer thinking, “yeah… this needs to be more comic.” And somehow, the font that became a design-world punchline also has an interesting connection to accessibility and dyslexia.

So before you judge the font, swipe through. You might never look at Comic Sans the same way again. 👀
And be honest, hate it, love it, or secretly use it? 😭

Apparently, being an INFJ-T comes with a reading list and an unnecessary amount of overthinking. 📚😭

A little glimpse into what an Art Crawl actually looks like. 👀❤️

Good art, curious minds, long walks, unexpected conversations, and plenty of moments that make you stop and look twice.
Here’s to Saturdays spent a little differently.

Come crawl with us next time. 🫶

Some books make you sad. Some make you angry. This one did both, but mostly the latter.
Kim Jiyoung, Born 1982 made me angry because so much of it felt painfully familiar. The casual sexism, the constant expectations, the little things women are told to ignore because “that’s just how it is.”

And maybe that’s what stayed with me the most, how nothing felt big enough on its own, but together, it becomes exhausting.
A short book, but definitely not an easy one to shake off.

Have you read it? What did you think?

A few things we’re reminding ourselves lately. 🌿

Sometimes we all need little reminders to slow down, be kinder to ourselves, and appreciate where we are instead of constantly looking for where we should be.

Save this for a day when you need a gentle nudge back to yourself.

And a little love for the person who brought these words to life, Sahasra , the heart behind @thecommonplaceblog_ 🌷

We’re so grateful she gave these thoughts a visual language of their own. There’s something so special about the way her illustrations hold softness, nostalgia, and a little bit of magic all at once. They feel like tiny worlds you want to linger in, and they captured exactly what we hoped these words would feel like. Thank you, Sahasra, for adding a little more whimsy to Loose Ends. 💛

Which reminder did you need today?

Review Friday.

Metamorphosis is less about transformation, more about how quickly empathy fades.
As Gregor changes, so does the way he is seen, care turns into obligation, and presence into burden.

Quiet, unsettling, and hard to forget.

A giant frog saving tokyo should feel ridiculous.
and somehow… it doesn’t.

I mostly picked this up because of the design,
but stayed because murakami has a strange way of making the absurd feel quiet and normal.

have you ever bought a book just because it looked beautiful?

Bookstores in Mumbai — part 2! 💛
This list isn’t about ranking or hating; it’s just about the different ways a bookstore can make you feel. Some spaces wrap you in comfort, some make you curious, and some just surprise you in the best way.

Each store has its own story, and exploring them has honestly become one of my favourite little rituals.

Tell me — which one from this list feels like your vibe?
And more importantly… where should I go next? My bookstore adventures are far from over!
