Saturday was nothing short of amazing. ✨

Our storytime was jam-packed, filled with families, laughter, and so much joy. When I first became a librarian, I dreamed of families choosing the Cleveland Public Library for moments like this—and seeing that vision come full circle with @tiffanyhaddish was magical. 🦄💫

She joined us on her own time, through the @shereadyfoundation , showing Cleveland so much love. We hope she felt it right back. 🖤

Our first Cheer & Chapters™️ Book Club outing was a success, and the girls had a blast! 📚📣

Coach Erica got the ball rolling, and the girls took it from there. 🙌🏾

This season, the girls picked New Kid by Jerry Craft, and we’re on chapters 6 / 7. 😎 Reading along? Let us know!

Cheer & Chapters™️ is a free, literacy-based cheer program serving girls in the Hough and North Collinwood communities. There’s nothing else like it. 🥰

Happy Banned Books Week!

When I look back, we’ve been grinding all our lives. 😂 Our work ethic is a product of our environment. Your creativeness is a gift from God.

Happiest Birthday to you, @latoyrenee . May all the stars align closer to you and your dreams continue to come true. 💗🥳

What a week! 🥳

As part of Cleveland Book Fest and the statewide Toni Morrison Celebration, @clevelandpubliclibrary welcomed more than 300 students and teachers to hear from award-winning writer and Emmy nominee Andrea Davis Pinkney. ✨

Every student went home with a signed copy of And She Was Loved: Toni Morrison’s Life in Stories.

Our young readers met an author who not only wrote about Ohio’s own Nobel Prize winner, but also edited her children’s books. A time was had!

Thank you, @andrea.davis.pinkney , for pouring into our kids. 💗

Just, wow. Informative, moving, and a call to action. That conversation could’ve gone on for hours.

Thank you, @ibramxk , for visiting the Cleveland Public Library.
