🕸️October Wrap Up🕸️ October was a crazy busy month for me personally so my reading is down but I loved most of what I did read this month! I'm reading some really great books now too so I expect November to have high ratings too. 💭: What are your reading goals for the rest of the year? #monthlywrapup #octoberreads #monthlyreads #arcreader #bookish by @bookmom0708
🍂Trust Fall by Lynn Painter 🍁YA Romance 🧡Out on September 29, 2026 Flirting, flirting, "good girl", flirting, flirting, slutty little glasses, flirting, flirting. 5⭐. Review complete. For real though, the banter, flirting, and chemistry between Julia and Damion was off the charts and had me sucked into their story for all 400+ pages. Both characters felt relatable in different ways. Julia is the new girl at a new rich school and you can feel her anxiety and pressure through the pages. I think everyone has felt like the outcast at some point so it was easy to empathize with her! Damion is a born and bred rich kid but he is trying to break out of that mold and find his own way. Both characters were incredibly compelling and their development was clear and enjoyable to read about! The side characters were also great! I would love to read more about Beckett and Donovan and see if there's anything going on there. I also loved Julia's brother Liam. I think I could read a whole book about them. This story touches on grief and losing someone important in your life. I loved that Lynn wrote so much emotion for Damion in regards to losing Remi. Young men are often put in a box that requires that they don't have feelings or don't let them show but Damion let his feelings and tears flow for his loss. Overall, Trust Fall had me laughing and tearing up. This is the perfect autumn read! Check this one out if you like: 🧡Enemies to Lovers 🍂Tutor x Student 🧡Small Town Girl x Big City Boy 🍂Forced Proximity Thank you to NetGalley and Simon Teen for both the eARC and physical galley! #trustfalllynnpainter #simonteen #yaromancebooks #autumnbooks #bookreview by @bookmom0708
✨AUDIOBOOK TOUR + REVIEW✨ Step into the Whittaker School of Magick, where power isn’t just a gift–it’s something to be controlled, contained…or taken. Thank you so much @reaghanquinn and @booksandbloompr for the gifted ALC! SHADOWMIRE by Reaghan Quinn The Starweaver, Book 1 Audiobook Available October 1st! This was a fun listen! I thought the narration was great and I am glad I had the chance to listen! The dark academia vibes were done really well and I liked that the magic system was unique. If you are looking for a love triangle romantasy read, this one is for you. Blurb: She was never meant to be here. Whittaker School of Magick, an elite academy where elemental wielders are forged into weapons for the ruling Service, where power isn’t just a gift—it’s something to be controlled, contained… or taken. And Celeste Farris is hiding something they would kill to own. She tries to stay invisible. To bury the magick rising beneath her skin. But power like hers doesn’t stay hidden. Not from Noa Gallagher—the fire-wielder who burns too bright, too hot, and looks at her like she’s something worth destroying the world for. And not from Gavrail Kamenov—the shadow-bound rival with silver eyes that sees too much, knows too much… and pulls her closer with every dangerous step. As ancient bloodlines begin to wake and the balance of power starts to fracture, Celeste realizes the truth: She isn’t just part of the game. She’s the reason it’s being played in the first place. I had a great time yesterday meeting @bleakhousing at @bobzbay and getting my ARC of The Ship of Death signed (and my preordered copy)! I'm very much an introvert so I was nervous to be a weirdo but Kyle was so kind. I'm sad to miss Hops & Horrors today but I got a couple more books to hold me over until The Substitute Teacher comes out next year so it was a big win! It was a very fruitful weekend for my bookshelves. Swipe to see what I'm adding to my library lol 💭: What book do you want to add to you shelves next? I don't have many signed books so I'm super excited to add these to my shelf!! My bestie gave me this stunning copy of Mistletoe All the Way for my birthday! I love a sprayed edge and I can't wait for Holiday romance season. One of my siblings gave me both Hooked and Butter for my birthday. They've both been on my wishlist for years. My husband and I did a little anniversary shopping on Friday evening. We picked out a cologne for him and took advantage of buy 1 get 1 half off at Target and picked up all of the Strange series books so far as well as a copy of First and Forever. I think that's the only @lynnpainterbooks book that I didn't have on my shelf yet! by @bookmom0708

Technically, she has several. A bakery drowning in Christmas orders. A younger sister getting married. A mother who has decided Piper's single status is a problem the entire Bennett family needs to solve. So Piper does what any perfectly reasonable woman would do under pressure. She invents a boyfriend. Unfortunately, the boyfriend she invents is Cole Mercer—her ridiculously attractive next-door neighbor, longtime friend, and the man she's absolutely, definitely never thought about that way. Now Cole has to survive family brunches, Christmas festivities, and a wedding weekend while pretending he's been dating Piper all along. There are rules. There are boundaries. And there is absolutely no reason fake dating should change anything between two people who've known each other for years. Except Cole has been wanting Piper for far longer than she realizes. And the more convincing they become, the harder it is to remember where pretending ends—especially when one hotel room, one shared bed, and years of buried attraction finally leave them with nowhere to hide. This Christmas, Piper may discover that the best lie she's ever told is the one that's been true all along. Tropes 🎄 Fake Dating🏡 Neighbors to Lovers❤️ Friends to Lovers🔥 He Falls First🛏️ One Bed💋 Years of Mutual Attraction👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 Meddling Family🍪 Small-Town Christmas Romance🌶️ Open-Door Spice SLEIGH MY NAME Mistletoe Ridge Book 2 Blurb Harper Reed has spent years perfecting two things: her Christmas shop and beating Beckett Hayes.
