All these I've had on my TBR prior to 2026 and I need to get them read! I am excited for all of them, except maybe Throne of the Fallen I'm not sure this will be my cup of tea but we shall see 🙈

📖 Last - Half City by Kate Golden. Absolutely loved this so much fun! 4.5 ✨

📖 Currently reading Knave and the Moon, A Fire Endless via audio and Lore Olympus: Volume Ten

📖 Next up physically will be Silver Under Nightfall which I've had on my tbr for over a year 🫣

Mini review - This was so much fun! I ate this up so quickly. Couldn't put it down. It is fast paced, it was giving shadow hunter vibes in the best way and had this nostalgic feeling. I loved Viv as the female lead, her boldness but also the desire to just want to fit in and not feel so lonely was balanced out so well.

Septemer reading wrap up 🫶 I read some really great books this month!

A cheeky little re-read of Malibu rising after finishing Carrie Soto for the first time last month

Rites of Starling was my favourite of the month! I am obsessed with this series and I cannot wait for the final book to come out

And I loved reading Silvercloak with the bookclub girlies and hosting bookclub! So much fun 🩷

This is one of my favourite romantasy series and authors! I am so thankful @chapteredwithdh gifted these to me for my birthday a few weeks ago 😭😭

✨ River Enchanted by Rebecca Ross review ✨

Rebecca Ross is an author I have only read for the first time this year which is criminal I know! However after finishing Divine Rivals which I loved I have slowly been waking my way through her backlist and suprise suprise River Enchanted also was amazing!

River Enchanted is such a beautifully written story that feels so intimate and contained within the scottish highland inspired fantastical setting. I loved how complex the characters are, the magical elements that are rooted into elemental spirits but also how effortless it ties creative arts like music and weaving into the magic. The rival between clans added the drama and mysterious element the book needed. The romance was slowly built up and was super sweet!

Although the plot was predictable and reveals were easy to see coming for me that wasnt an issue as I was immersed into the world and characters within it.

After the ending, I cannot wait to finish this duology and read book 2 by @booknerd_ali

Just a little appreciation post for one of my favourite authors! My first book by her was Nightingale but my favourite is The Four Winds. I think about that book and I get emotional 😭

Winter Garden will be my next read by her and I'm so excited for her new release The Fire which comes out in May next year 🥰

I am so excited to be reading Silvercloak with the book babes discord book club this month - nominated by me 🥰

This has been on my tbr for a year and although I should have read it sooner it's also perfect timing as book 2 comes out this month!

I loved Our Infinite Fates by this author so I am hoping this one also hits and all the girlies who read it enjoy it ❤️

July Wrap ✨

I completed two epic fantasy series - the Nevernight Chronicles and The Farseer Trilogy both absolutely amazing!

I also binged Metal Slinger and Light Wielder and had so much fun with it and sending unhinged voice notes 🤣🤣

Unfortunately as much as I wanted to love it I couldn't get behind Daggermouth.

✨ I was super late to the party getting to this one and I was honestly pretty skeptical on whether it would work for me.

Happy to say I loved this!

4.5 Stars 🩷🩷

This was so much more enjoyable and fantasy heavy than I thought it would be. I loved the world, the magic and lore. The monsters were something fresh and i enjoyed slowly being exposed to them and can't wait to understand them more in book 2 especially after the brutal ending. Odessa did annoy me a little at the start but I ended up enjoying her character growth. Most of the big reveals were very predictable for me but I still enjoyed it anyways. Excited to see where this series ends up. by @booknerd_ali
