Hiii, how are you? Hope you are doing well!
I am so nervous to post this 🙈 but I’ve been really wanting to start an account because I love books, I love reading and I feel like the Bookstagram community is so wholesome and I would love to be a part of it🫶🏻✨

This is meet me in 5, I was inspired by the idea of @isa.booknook (credit to @isa.booknook) 🫶🏻✨

Tbh I am pretty new to posting anything at all on social media (because I don’t tend to post on my private one) so it’s all a bit daunting but extremely exciting at the same time🩵✨

Here are some fun facts about me: 🙋🏻‍♀️
✨ I am a thriller girly through and through, and I also love mystery books, with more of a cosy Agatha Christie vibe! Oh and I also love fantasy 🙌🏻 📚
✨ I have a mini sausage doggie called Olivia (the named was picked because of a song from One Direction 🙈🧡) and she is the cutest 🐶
✨ I love music! My fav band growing up was, and still is hahah, One Direction🫶🏻 I also love Niall (his solo music, specially his latest album) and I really like Aitana (a Spanish singer) 🎶🎸
✨ I love going to the beach and going out for picnics 🌊🌲🧺
✨I really like playing board games! My fav is called Catan

Hiii friends🩵 how are you? ✨
Verity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have mixed feelings with this book. At first, I was having a good time; it was a really fast-paced read, I read it in 3 days (which is really fast for me, I am quite a slow reader). However, at around the 80% mark I started feeling like it got quite repetitive in some of the phrases they were used (especially in the epilogue). I also thought that it was a bit heavy on the spicy scenes, for my liking (I like those type of scenes but I am not sure I like them that much in a thriller book, at least it wasn’t what I was expecting. I was caught off guard, I wasn’t ready for them haha, so maybe that’s why I felt they were a bit much, i don’t know🙈, I just felt they weren’t doing that much for the plot, imo🙈)
On the other hand, I enjoyed the creepy aspects of the plot and its pace.

Hiii friends🩵 how are you?
Some spooky (thrillery) reads for today; Tuesday the 13th of October and for spooky season in general 🎃👻🧙✨📚🧡

Fun fact: I was planning to post this earlier but the signal in the area where I live got cut out and we were completely incommunicated (we couldn’t call or use internet) for several hours, I felt inside my own thriller book with the “isolated and cut out from the rest of the world” trope heheh; very Tuesday the 13th esque 🤣🙈🩵📚

(I did a google search and I am just realising that, according to google, Tuesday 13’s are considered bad luck only on Spanish speaking countries, I don’t know if that’s right?🙈 I am from a Spanish speaking country (Uruguay, in South America) and we regard Tuesday 13 the same as Friday 13, both considered as “bad luck” days (just for shits and giggles heheh🙈🎃🧡, though when i was younger i used to get a bit scared ngl) I am curious; in your countries do you also consider Tuesday 13 the same as us? Heheh I’ve got sidetracked🙈)

✨what’s one book that is a must read for you this October? I would love to know🤗🧡📚✨

Tonight was movie night! We finished Verity today and we went to the movies 🍿
I def have some thoughts on the book, my perception of it changed at around the 80% mark🙈, I’ll post more about it tomorrow🧡

Hiii friends 🩵 Happy Saturday 🙌🏻✨

Today I started my reading journal! 💖 I am not so artsy sadly hehe🙈 but it was sooooo much fun😍🙌🏻 I used to be a perfectionist (so much so to the point that I used to stop myself from trying new things or things I was “bad” at because I knew I couldn’t do them “perfectly”) but now I am founding the fun on the imperfect, on the mistakes and it feels so freeing, like being a child again, I love it! 🥹✨❤️ So, while doing this I was reminded of that!
