Hey, there! If you're new here, please allow me to introduce myself!

I'm a married woman of thirty-two years, but I've known my husband for thirty-nine. Our first date was a trip to the movies to see Top Gun!

I'm a mom of three super cool, super bright, super beautiful adults, and a mom to two fluffy fur babies, Sophie and Sadie, and a She-She (grandmom) to one sweet little dachshund mix, Cookie!

It's never too late, and you're never too old to chase down a dream. I've lived with imposter syndrome long enough. It's time for it to take a hike!

I'm currently querying my romantasy, What's Written in the Sand, and have a WIP about my grandparents' love story set in WWI and WWII.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you stick around! 💜

The rules of life and love have changed now that Alec has fallen into a realm of magic where an enchanting woman with shadows in her eyes and an alluring smile charts a course, leading him either to his salvation or death.

Wooohooo!

After six years, three hundred and twenty three rejections, I am thrilled to announce that What’s Written in the Sand is out of the query trenches!

I have signed with @byzantiumskypress with @crystalheidel and I could not be happier!

I am so excited to get started, and I have many people to thank for helping me make this announcement! My heart is full to bursting with gratitude for the wonderful people I have met along the way. People who have beta read, given feedback, read again and given more feedback, held my hand, cried with me, dried my tears, encouraged me to keep going, picked me up when I couldn’t do it myself, I cannot thank you enough. I’m looking at you #writingcommunity

At fifty eight, I took a chance on myself, made some changes, and I have created a new path, a new journey that I am beyond ecstatic to navigate with your help and guidance and support.

The greatest thanks goes to my husband and kids who have supported me through thick and thin and my greatest wish is I have taught them the importance of never giving up on your dreams!

Thank you for following along in my journey and watching cringey videos so far, and I’ll do my very best to keep you here!

What’s Written in the Sand is expected to be released Summer of 2027!

Much love and gratitude,
Sheila

WOW!

I’ve been a bit quiet, soaking in all the moments, being present and grateful to witness and participate in this spectacular day! All the planning and preparation does not prepare you for the overwhelming emotions and the realization your little girl has her own path to travel with a caring, thoughtful partner who makes your heart melt when you see the way he looks at your daughter.

Their future is bright and full, and I cannot wait to watch it all unfold.

And thanks to Global Inno Health and Wellness with Dr. Ko, @3anddpersonaltraining, @ivyrehab.media @realdocmartin I was able to dance the night away, spinal pain be damned!

And more good news is coming!

What a magical day!

As my Diamond of the First Water prepares for her walk down the aisle, may the day serve as one filled with the deepest joy and love, and rest assured this writer will be watching with great attention and a heart bursting with pride and love and most certainly sipping lots of champagne!

I’m so honored to be your mom! I’m so excited to watch your future unfold!

And I’m so grateful for everyone who helped make this day extraordinary, especially my health care team who helped me manage the day without pain!
