Archer's Voice 🥹😭❤️‍🩹💔❤️ This was my first ever read of @miasheridanauthor & I am SO glad it was. Genre : Contemporary Romance, emotional romance, slowburn, small town romance. Rating : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This story is a combination trauma & healing, heartbreaking & finding love ❤️ Bree moves to a small town to escape her past and ends up meeting Archer, a quiet guy who has spent most of his life isolated from the world. As they get closer, they help each other heal and discover a love neither of them expected. This one is full of emotion and reminds you that sometimes love goes way beyond words. I do not want to give a full book review because I do not want to give away any spoilers but lets just say this book will love rent free in my head for years to come. I loved it and couldn't recommend it more. This book, I have read about 4x 😅 it never gets old. Genre: Contemporary fiction / Romance Rating : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is a story of a woman, who begins questioning the life she has built, the everyday hustle & whether she is truly happy. The sky is everywhere by Jandy Nelson Genre - Young adult, Contemporary Romance, grief & loss ⭐️⭐️⭐️ This beautiful story is ultimately about grief, first love, friendship and family bond as well as learning to keep living after loosing someone you love. MFC Lennie, a 17 year old girl who is navigating the sudden and devastating loss of her older sister. The story is told completely through Lennie's point of view. Lennie is literally overwhelmed with grief and struggling daily. She finds herself unexpectedly caught with romantic feelings towards two different boys. Something that I absolutely loved and feel like set this story apart is the fact that Lennie expresses her emotions through poetry and leaves little pieces or writing all around town. The family upstairs, The family remains - @lisajewelluk Both ⭐️⭐️⭐️ and a half Lisa's writing is like aging wine, is fabulous but gets more impressive as time goes on. I started with Lisa Jewells newer books as I only just discovered this incredible author last year and have now moved into her older books. This duology was a great read! The family upstairs - This is a dark psychological thriller about family secrets long buried, inheritance & a house with a deeply disturbing past. This story jumps between.... MFC Libby, in the present day, trying to piece her biological family's history together.. MMC Henry, mostly in the past, providing an insight to the horrors of the house.. 2nd MFC Lucy, in the present trying to navigate life with difficult circumstances while being connected to a family with a mysterious history. The family remains - A dark twisty follow up to 'The family upstairs' that revisits the complexity of the Lamb family while introducing a new mystery as a body is found in the Thames. This forces people connected to the past to confront secrets they thought long buried. Introducing a couple of new characters & their perspectives, the story is told from the view of.... MFC - Libby & how she deals with the secrets about her family exposed... from the view of the present day MFC - Lucy present day MMC - Henry and his complicated relationship with the past from the view of present day with past elements Rachel -A new perspective introduced largley connected to the historic timeline & the mystery of the body found. Very short, but packs a punch! "Death Row" by @fmcfaddenauthor appeared on @whitcoulls_nz shelves a few days ago and I was there ready to get it. I was sad it was so short because it was a really good story line! Think, wrongful conviction with a twist you never saw coming. I read this in an hour because I could not put it down! O M G 😱 I have just discovered @noelleihliauthor and trust me when I say you NEED to read her books. I saw this at my local bookstore & saw that @fmcfaddenauthor @lisajewelluk & @karinslaughterauthor (three of my all time favourite authors) all recommend her books & so I bought it...... I was so obsessed I could not put this book down... Genre - Survival thriller, suspense thriller. Rating - ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ FIVE STARS! This story immediately starts off with a hiss and a roar and every chapter somehow sent chills down my spine. I literally held my breath through multiple parts. It about Kaia (FMC), who goes on a rafting trip that quickly turns into a nightmare. The group is travelling through an isolated stretch of river where a group of rafters were murdered years before. When strange things start happening, Kaia begins to realise that someone in the group may be hiding something... Best believe me when I say I was waiting outside the bookstore at 8.45am waiting for it to open at 9am on re release day! 😜 Got my hands on it immediately of course. Genre - Psychological Thriller Rating - ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. 5 Review - This @fmcfaddenauthor was a bit more of a slow burn written between past and present. This book follows the story of Dr Charly McKenna, a successful dermatologist who wakes up in a hospital after suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. What follows is Charly trying to piece the fragments of her memories together to try and figure out who did this to her & why... as she goes through this, she begins to realise she cannot trust the people around her including her husband..
