POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

October 1st marks THRESHING DAY. 🔥

And on Threshing Day, there’s only one rule:
Don’t. Die. 😭

So naturally… here are some quotes from Threshing Day by @rebeccayarros that make absolutely NO sense until you’ve read the book:

“If I am Five, then you are four.”

“My validation is all you shall seek from me now on.”

“You will never see a sunrise where I am not waiting for you.”

“If you were not worthy, you’d be char by now.”

…Yeah. 🫠

If you know, you KNOW. And if you don’t… what are you waiting for?! 👀

I already feel like there are going to be things we look back on later and say, “REBECCA. YOU LITERALLY TOLD US. HOW DID WE NOT CATCH THAT?!” 😂

Because you just KNOW there are details in this book that are going to mean something completely different once we have more answers.

Happy Threshing Day, everyone. May the odds be ever in your favor. 😂🌾

Have you read Threshing Day yet? Which assignment did you get? 👀

SEPTEMBER RECAP 📚💀

20 books read.
12 were ARCs.

And before you ask how my TBR is still out of control after reading 20 books… this is exactly why. 😂

I keep reading new books, new releases, and ARCs instead of actually reading the physical books that have been sitting on my shelves forever. 🫠📚

September also introduced me to some new to me authors:
✨ Liv Zander @authorlivzander
✨ Penelope Douglas penelope.douglas
✨ Raven Kennedy @ravenkennedybooks

And Raven Kennedy is especially funny because I finally read my first book by her… but instead of reading the Plated Prisoner series that I ALREADY OWN, I read her new release first. 😂

Now I’m even more curious about The Plated Prisoner series, so maybe THIS is finally the year I actually read the books I already own. 😂

At this point, my physical TBR is just patiently waiting for me to remember it exists.

20 books read and somehow I still didn’t make a dent in my TBR. 😂

How many books did you read in September? And tell me I’m not the only one who keeps reading the new books instead of the ones they already own. 👀

HAPPY RELEASE DAY TO THRESHING DAY BY @rebeccayarros 🖤🔥

My preorder actually showed up ON release day AND I got lucky enough to snag the audiobook on @libby.app this morning?! EXCUSE ME?! 😭🎧

Obviously, I had no choice but to stop doing literally everything I was supposed to be doing. 😂 I started the audiobook thinking I’d listen for a little bit and… well… I may have accidentally listened to THE WHOLE THING. 🫣📚🎧

Priorities, right? 😂

Also, I need to talk about this edition because THE ART. 😍 And the fact that it’s FULL COLOR?! I’m obsessed. It’s such a gorgeous book to add to my trophy shelf.

Anyone else immediately abandoning their TBR for this one? 😂
Who’s already finished it?! 👀 No spoilers, please.

Currently reading fall books, witchy books, spooky books… and apparently Christmas romances too. 😂🎄 Okay, I guess we’re doing ALL the seasons over here.

Thank you to @laurenblakelybooks for sending me the eARC and @simonmaverickbooks for providing me with the ALC through @librofm before release day! ❤️

Mistletoe All the Way by Lauren Blakely comes out TOMORROW, October 6, and this one is giving grumpy x sunshine, small-town holiday romance, cowboy veterinarian, and Christmas chaos. 🎄🐴🔥

Eloise is basically Christmas cheer in human form, while Noah is the grumpy veterinarian who would much rather hang out with animals than people. Naturally, they end up teaming up for a holiday pageant… and catching feelings along the way. 👀

And the audiobook?! FULL CAST. 🙌 You already know how much I love a full cast narration, and this one made the story even more fun to listen to. I enjoyed it so much!

🚨 TESSA BAILEY WENT THERE. 🚨

Time travel. Two brothers. One girl who absolutely should NOT be in 2026. And the one man sworn to hunt people like her is also the one looking at her like that?! 👀🔥

Thank you, @avonbooks , for providing me with a physical #gifted copy before release day! 🫶📚

Broken Rival by @tessabaileyisanauthor is giving me a completely different side of Tessa, and honestly… I’m HERE FOR IT.

Magnolia is an 18 year old from the future who gets stranded in 2026 after her parents are executed for illegal time travel. Now she’s stuck with a Kansas family, including Fallon the boy she loves and Ramsey, the brooding militia commander who is supposed to be her enemy.

Except Ramsey is protecting her with his life… while very clearly wanting her. 👀

So naturally I need to know:
FALLON OR RAMSEY?! 👀
And who do you think Magnolia should trust?

This sounds like the kind of book where I’m going to spend the entire time saying “girl, RUN” while also needing to know what happens next. 😂

Broken Rival is available everywhere this Tuesday, October 6! ✨

Me: “I’m not falling for this forbidden romance.”
Kandi: “Oh, you absolutely are.”😭😂

Make Me Hate You by @kandisteiner had me completely invested! 👀💕

Seven years apart.
Best friend’s brother.
Second chance.
Forced proximity.
Unresolved feelings.
SO much chemistry. 🔥

The situation is definitely complicated, but somehow I couldn’t stop rooting for them. Kandi really knows how to write a forbidden romance that pulls you in and keeps you turning the pages!

And Holly Warren was AMAZING on the audiobook. 🎧💕

Thank you @keeperton and @arndellbooks for the eARC + ALC! 💕 This book re-release this Tuesday October 6.

Who else loves a romance that makes you question your morals just a little? 👀😂

💕 HEATED HEARTS REP SEARCH 💕 @the.butterfly.bookclub

I would absolutely love the opportunity to be part of the Heated Hearts team! Romance has such a special place in my reading life, and one of my favorite things about being part of the book community is getting to share the books I’m excited about with other readers. There’s just something so fun about finding a book that completely pulls you in and then immediately wanting everyone else to read it too. 🥹📚

When I saw what Heated Hearts is bringing in 2027, I knew I had to apply. The mix of sports romance, cowboys, small town romance, rockstars, and rom-coms, is basically a dream lineup for me.

A few authors I would absolutely love to see featured are Lyla Sage, Lucy Score, Meghan Quinn, and Devney Perry. I already love the stories these authors create, and I’d be so excited to see their books given the Heated Hearts treatment!

I’d be so grateful for the chance to be part of this team from the very beginning, support the authors you feature, and share my genuine excitement for these books with my little corner of the bookish community. Here’s hoping I get to be along for the ride! 🥰📖✨

She doesn’t have the family psychic gift… so she’s going to fake it. 🔮🏚️

Thank you, @bookmarked for sending me this #gifted physical copy of The Sisters of Crimson House by @melissaasweazy 🖤

Welcome to Crimson House, where the house is haunted, the family has secrets, and apparently being the only sister without psychic abilities is the least of Charley’s problems. 👀

After tragedy tears her family apart and money starts running out, Charley has one choice if she wants to save her childhood home: turn Crimson House into a haunted attraction and start using tarot cards, lies, and a whole lot of convincing to keep the family business alive.

But then a skeptic starts calling her out… and somehow his arrival begins uncovering secrets the Bryde family has spent years trying to bury.

And when Charley’s sister Miranda suddenly comes back after EIGHT YEARS away? Yeah… I’m going to need to know what happened there. 👀

✨ Haunted house
✨ Family secrets
✨ Psychic/tarot vibes
✨ Sisters with unfinished business
✨ A skeptic who starts digging way too deep
✨ And a house that may be hiding more than anyone realizes

The Sisters of Crimson House by Melissa Anderson Sweazy is officially on my radar. 🔮🖤

Would you rather live in a supposedly haunted house or stay far, FAR away from it? 👻
