POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Hiiii and welcome to my Bookstagram page! 📖🎧❤️‍🔥

Still don’t know what I’m doing really. How to make a good reel? No idea. Literary expert? Defo not! I only really started reading again last year….. but OMG I am obsessed with everything books and getting back into reading has changed my life. Seriously. Not to be too melodramatic but it really has been soul-saving hence the insta name 🤣

Some things about me:
🎧❤️‍🩹I have a chronic illness which means I mostly listen to audiobooks however did I mention they have been my saviour??! 🙏🏻🙌🏻
📖💖 I LOVE physical books and immersive reading if I have the energy
😊📷 For now I’m remaining a faceless account. As an invisible chronic illness warrior … we face enough judgement day to day without extra scrutiny of others. So I am protecting my peace & mental load with this decision. ✌🏻☮️🧘🏼‍♀️
I may not be able to post as often as I’d like as it takes a lot of energy to post…. And my posts may not be creative or aesthetic either… I am just loving having the chance to interact with others who share a love of reading 🥰

Fantasy, Dark Fantasy, Romance, Dark Romance, a palette cleanser of a different genre once in a while? Don’t mind if I do. Follow along if you fancy being bookish friends and chatting about which lines hit you the hardest, which plot twists emotionally ruined you, and what book recs we should all be adding to the never ending TBR. LOVE this bookish community so glad I joined. 🥰🥰🥰 #romantasy #fantasy #bookcommunity #bookstagram by @bookssavedmysoul

This book…… ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥!!! I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the dystopian vibes, but picked it up after seeing so many great Booksta reviews 👀 And wow… it blew me away! The crazy twists had my jaw on the floor 😱 the tension and drama between the enemies to lovers ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 the themes of power struggles, rebellion, family bonds, friendships, love and endurance all in a twisted dark world that was so addictive to read about. I CANNOT wait to read the next installment, and any other book H.M.Wolfe publishes. The narration was so gripping. Angel Pean’s voice was perfect for the FMC, an excellent performance. And well, it seems I’m now firmly in my Teddy Hamilton audiobook era. 😍 #daggermouth #dystopianbooks #darkromance #dystopian #book by @bookssavedmysoul

This series was one of the first fantasy series I fell in love with on my reading journey… and so I was extremely excited to read the fourth and final book. Did I agree with the FMC’s choices? No. But did I still have an emotional, adventure filled, twisty, amazing time reading about it? 💯💯💯❤️‍🔥 I would have liked the tropes and the plot to have taken a different path, however I respect what the author was doing for maximum emotional damage. 🥺 I would have liked Diem to have learned more lessons and not made such maddening choices. But I really enjoyed screaming about it and watching the drama unfold. Excited to see what Penn Cole writes next, her writing is amazing and I’ll be first in line to read what comes next 😍 #burn #burnoftheeverflame #romantasy #book #kindredscursesaga by @bookssavedmysoul

If you’re looking for an epic fantasy with plot heavy, twists and puzzles with yearning and infrequent spice this series is for you!! Set in a beautiful land, with unique magic and very unique mystical creatures, the world building is excellent and really immersive. Some readers criticise some main twists being too obvious, however I disagree, and loved how it was written so the reader guesses the twist early on and follows along wondering WHEN the main character is going to eventually click 🤣 LOVED the narration, Princess Odessa voiced by Samantha Brentmoor gives this fantasy audio such a fresh feel. Loved the character development, and the enemies to lovers is 👌🏻😮‍💨❤️‍🔥 both books 5 star can’t wait for the movie (I’m sure the visuals of the magical land & creatures will be 😍) and also can’t wait for the 3rd book! #fantasy #tomantasy #shieldofsparrows #ritesofthestarling #book by @bookssavedmysoul

One is a very very eagerly anticipated epic fantasy romance to finish off a series, and the other a hugely popular gut-wrenching dark dystopian romance…. Both books I have been so excited to read!! Just love switching when my moods change and I want a different narrator in my ears for a bit 🤣🤣 by @bookssavedmysoul

This series had been on my TBR for such a long time after hearing so many good things, AND it’s currently free to listen to on Audible UK. It was a really fun read, set in a beautiful tropical, but very dangerous land, full of political intrigue, enemies-to-lovers tension, betrayal, and plenty of twists. Lara and Aren’s relationship kept me guessing, and the world-building made it so easy to get lost in the story. The second book especially had me feeling ALL the emotions. I did miss the fact there was no magic in this world, as I prefer my fantasies to be more magical and less political/war driven. I did enjoy book 1 but it wasn’t until book 2 I really began to become addicted to the story. Book 2 really sets up the scene for the next two books in the series, which is another duology following a romance between two other characters in the same world! #thebridgekingdom #thetraitorqueen #fantasy #romance #booktok by @bookssavedmysoul

The first fantasy standalone novel I have read and it was 👌🏻😮‍💨💜 the banter, dark humour and the emotional damage had me gripped from start to finish! The first half of the book the plot pacing felt a little slow for me - or perhaps it just felt that way because the synopsis gives away some of the first major plot points. The narration was amazing, the sass and wit of both characters really came through on the audio. Five star vibes all day! 100% recommend. #fantasy #romantasy #thepoisondaughter #books #booktok by @bookssavedmysoul

Absolutely loved this small town, forbidden, rivals-to-lovers Western Romance… where we follow Emmett and Julia who are trying their best not to fall for each other while working together on Romance Ranch dating show. The hilarious situations they find themselves in, and the tension while trying to remain professional is so entertaining. Loved the narration on the audiobook too. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun vibes read, or a wee palette cleanser! What I would give to hike up Prickle Point for the stunning views across Emerald Lake 🤩 although no Cacti for me please 🌵🏜️ IYKYK😆 #romance #cowboyromance #elsiesilver #audiobook #romcom by @bookssavedmysoul
