One thing I started doing after getting the Kindle was making a list of books I LOVED and had to have in physical form. When your birthday and Christmas are less than 2 weeks away from each other, you start racking up !! Now accepting donations for a second bookshelf 😩🤣

Book #110 ✔️

Gosh, still catching up on all the books I’ve read recently. 😩 It’s starting to look like my TBR list. Had to take a lil break from the #booksta because of teaching. But here’s hoping I can stay on top of it now. 🥲

I can't…” He sucked in a shaky breath. “I want to be able to love you more than I fear losing you, and I don't know how. Teach me, Bree. Please teach me. Don't let me destroy this.” 😩😭

I was heavily influenced on this baby. And man oh man am I glad I was. 🥹 This book is not on the spice level of what I’m used to, but it was honestly like a breath of fresh air. I love this book with my whole heart. The love story that develops and the friendship they form - UGH people it’s what dreams are made of. The fact that Bree knew exactly what Archer needed, even when Archer didn’t see it. 😩

Bree and Archer are just genuinely good, loving, kind people. They have incredible chemistry and get each other on a level others didn’t attempt to do.

It’s a beautiful story and will 1000% pull at the heart strings. I mean, tears and all. 10/10 recommend. ❤️ by @bookswithbecsjo

Books #105-109 ✔️

Right so. I was a little late to this party, and so many people recommended them to me. And let me just say - I LOVED them. 🥹🤩

It took me entirely too long to realized this was the same @ellekennedy33 that wrote #GoodGirlComplex and as soon as I found that tidbit of very well known knowledge out, I immediately wanted to read the entire series. And I did. 🙂 They consumed me for a few days until I the very last page of #TheLegacy.

I could’ve done 5 separate ratings on these, but tbh where’s the fun in that. They’re all deliciously intertwined with their stories and you get to see glimpses of the previous relationships in each one. And, like any great book, each relationship is different in their own way - but still have the yummmmy hockey players as the main guy. 😅🏒

- The Deal : Hannah and Graham’s story. Graham needs Hannah’s help when he starting to slip in a class they share. Hannah doesn’t want to help the hockey player, but finally agrees when Graham says he’ll help her get the attention of her crush. 😋

- The Mistake : Grace and John Logan’s story. After an accidental meeting in Grace’s freshman dorm, and a spicy night - they’re both back on campus and have their heads in two different places. Grace is determined to make John Logan work for it, and he’s not backing down. 😩

- The Score : Allie and Dean’s story. Allie is trying to get over her long time boyfriend and has one wild rebound night with hockey hottie Dean. Which leads to so much sneaking around and an accidental but strong need for each other. 🥹

- The Goal : Sabrina and Tucker’s story. Sabrina is a headstrong and determined law student that has a goal for her life. Tucker is a sweet and attentive hockey player. After a night of hotness, they end up in a position that shocks their life plans. And Tucker is absolutely convinced to show Sabrina just how much she means to him. 😭

- The Legacy : The perfect epilogue to all 4. ❤️

Overall : HIGHLY recommend. The spice. The drama. The banter. The whole thing. All of it. Perfection. 😭😍🤩👏🏽🏒😩 🥵🔥🌶️🌶️🌶️

Book #104 ✔️

*Calling all Kindle readers!!! Do you also take your Kindle everywhere?? I promise I’m not actually moving in my car lol Unfortunately where I live, to get to work, I have to cross a bridge. And when that bridge is shut down and you have to cross another bridge and there’s an accident.. you end up sitting in your parked car reading to pass the 45 minute wait. 🫠🥲*

Straight up SWOON. 💞 I read this one before I read Icebreaker and I’m about 100% positive THIS is the book that turned me to being a hockey romance lover. 🥹

Let me lay it out for you : Carter Beckett is a hot shot, delicious, steamy playboy who tries (and fails) to pick up his best friends-girlfriend’s-bestie. Enter Olivia Parker aka Ollie. She’s the short, fierce and snarky PE teacher that will definitely NOT be falling for Carter Beckett. 😉

The friendships, character development, the 🥵🥵, the fact that he falls first - yes. 👏🏽 All the yes.

I will say - the amount of times they talked about Ollie’s height was a bit 🫠. Like I know she’s short…. I know!!

However, it was a good one. Had the sweet sweet feels and the spice and the banter all wrapped up with a side of sports. 👏🏽 taken in Virginia by @bookswithbecsjo

Book #102 ✔️

“You don’t hate me like you pretend you do, so you? If you want me on my knees, Anastasia, we can make that happen.” 🥵

Oh my gaaaaah, I’ve said it once and I’ll said it again. College romance isn’t my *usual* go to. HOWEVER, with a good author and a fantastic book - my mind could be changed. 😅

Icebreaker was wonderful, honestly. It had great banter, sport romance, enemies-to-friends-to-lovers, THE SPICE - all 👏🏽 the 👏🏽 things!!!! The plot of the book was perfect and it kept me hooked until the absolute very end. I loved that Nate was so perfect to Stas and their friends were chefs kiss and the positive dialog around therapy and the diversity. I have nothing but wonderful things to sing about Icebreaker.

Background : Anastasia and Nate are both killin it on ice, but in different ways and in different arenas. Until they aren’t. Anastasia thinks Nate is just an annoying hockey star, and Nate thinks Anastasia is a beautiful intense ice skater. Clearly they aren’t meant to be…….. until they absolutely are. 🥹 We love a man that supports our goals in ANY way he can. And a sassy, cheeky gal that for sure doesn’t need a relationship right now. 😉🤪

You should absolutely read it. @hannahgraceauthor you are a star. This is added to my physical book wishlist. 📝

And what a perfect series to hit 100 books for 2022!!!! 🥹👏🏽

First off, Rory + Angelo = forever. Penny + Rafe = FOR. EV. ER. 🥹

Okay now. Tell me what you need to convince you to read this series. I read the first two a little bit ago, waited for the third (read it in a day), and now I will be *anxiously* awaiting the fourth. Somme Sketcher has me straight up hooked. This series had me feeling all the feels. And it is 🥵🌶🤤. I mean, I don’t know. Something about mafia romance, possessiveness, and killing for someone gets me going these days. 🥵👏🏽

The first book is Rory + Angelo’s story, book 2 and 3 is Penny + Rafe. Read in order to understand each book and trust me, you’ll love them. Straight up hooked.

Sinners Anonymous : Rory is forced to marry a much older man to save a place near and dear to her heart - until his hot and much younger nephew comes back home. 👏🏽 YES ANGELO.

Sinners Condemned + Sinners Consumed : Penny is running from her past and accidentally swindle’s the wrong (eh, right 😌) man back in her hometown. Luckiest girl, but completely unlucky for Rafe. Doesn’t stop the obsession. 😏🫶🏼

- Age Gap
- Slow Burn
- Dark Mafia Romance
- Enemies to Lovers

This series is without a doubt on my *Physical Copy* wishlist. They will 100% grace my bookshelves one day. 📚

Books #94-97 ✔️

“There’s nothing wrong with being broken. Some things aren’t meant to be whole. And some things don’t need to be fixed.”

Wowza. This series (4 books in total) were probably the definition of spicy. 🌶 I mean. Every few pages they were 🥵. If you’re following for the deets, let me lay this out for you:
- RH with 4 besties
- Spiiiiiicy 🌶
- DRA.MA
- Revenge (sweet sweet revenge)
- Broken pasts (lit all of them)
- Death (lots of it)
- Mafia
- Suspense

So basically, you could fly right through all of them without taking a breath because there is literally always something. Honestly during the 3rd book I thought, “Will River ever catch a break???” 🫠

⚠️ I do think some of the content they touched on could be triggering, so keep that in mind.

Overall: River is a BAB and has not one, not two, but ✨four✨ boys on their knees for her by the end of this series. 👏🏽👑 by @bookswithbecsjo

Book #93 ✔️

Woo wee. Let me just say. I absolutely loved this book. Definitely wasn’t sure I would, especially since all the books I’ve been reading recently have half naked men on the front. 😅🙃

Anyways. I started describing this book to my friend today and it definitely started to sound like the plot of a Hallmark movie. LOL you know bad boy needs to be reigned in, so she’s sent to live on the fam farm with him and keep him under control. 🤪 Except on Hallmark they like kiss once at the end, and you definitely get more than that in this little beaut. 🌶😉 Gosh, and a cowboy that uses his hat to claim what’s his??? Sign me up!!!

It really was so so so good. If it’s not on your radar/TBR - add it. It may not be up there on the regular 🥵 books I read, but gosh. It was good. 👏🏽 I’ve added it to my “Physical Must Have” list on Amazon. Now, we patiently/impatiently wait for the next one to come out !!!! @authorelsiesilver you my GIRL.

Book #91 ✔️

It’s back to school time for this teacher. So reading will be fewer and far between. 🥲 Finished this one at lunch during work week.

So. WOW. First off. 10/10 all around. I’m thinking this is such an underrated book. Y’all. There was definitely some spicy scenes, but the whole plot of the book was so much more than that. 🥲 Almost didn’t read this one because high school graduate/new to college isn’t totally my vibe, but I’m so glad I kept up with it.

This book will make you have literally ALL. THE. FEELS. Noah Riley is straight up boyfriend GOALS. Arianna is my girlie and even though things got rough, Imma stick with her. 😭 I’m telling you this book threw me through some loops and I highly suggest it.

If you need a good story with multiple POV’s, first love, forever love, drama, twists, etc - add it. 💳 It’s worth it.

Found it on #BookTok and like. Thank you to everyone who said to read it. This is a four book series and you will become obsessed with it. There’s drama, billionaire age-gap romance, forbidden romance, main character finding herself, SPICE 🥵, twists and turns, etc. 😌 It really did check all the boxes for me.

Books #84-85 ✔️

Lots of mixed reviews on #GoodReads for this one.

Loved the first two books in this series. I will say - the way this whole story started was literally because of cheating with a married man - and your besties brother. 😬 Wasn’t looking too good for the entire situation. And there was like a little more cheating in the middle there too. HOWEVER, if you look past that and go deeper into the story.. bless. So much drama, first love, old friendships, possessiveness, etc. Everything that makes a good book. 👏🏽 and the 🥵🌶 oh my lanta. Honestly, the whole bad boy turned mush for his one true love gets me every. dang. time. Plus I love when a book continues in to another.

Oh @meghanquinnbooks - you did it again. 👏🏽 Read this one in quite literally less than a day. It was that. good. The sass, the banter, the plot, the whole darn thing. 👏🏽 Lilly starts off wetting tshirts in Miami and finds out she’s a whole princess. It’s very much giving spicy Princess Diaries in the best possible way. But like. A lot more 🌶🥵. Also reminded me a little of Twisted Games by Ana Huang.

Also it’s on #KindleUnlimited which is honestly amazing. But will 💯 end up in my physical library one day. *Adds to wishlist*
