Lyrics and Loss 🎤💜
This story is sweet, heart warming and beautiful. My favourite one in the Blackwood Valley series yet! After reading this I’ve realised I haven’t read much best friends to lovers before but I am here for it! The way that Linden and Junie already know one another so well and seeing that blossom into a love so pure brought tears to my eyes! 🥹
I’ve said this about Lauren’s work before and I will continue to say it, I love the adult, mature and communicative relationship she writes! 💜
If you need a romance to read go try Lauren’s beautiful writing! Thank you for letting me ARC read! 🥰

Hunt the Dragons 🐦‍🔥🐉
*possible small spoilers especially if you haven’t read book 1*
This was everything I wanted and more from this sequel! It kept me hooked, followed the story while adding new elements with more twists and reveals which had me shocked (that ending!!)
Syneca found herself in this book and I am here for it, she’s even more fiery and determined and I love it.
Broody Silas, I loved getting to know him more and where he is from. The yearning is strong in this one!
Then we have Lucy and Riot, that side of the story took me by storm, my heart hurt for her so many times!
I’ll be counting down the days for book three!
Miranda is my witchy queen ✨

Happy release day to Kiss of the Black Flame! 🔥
I had the pleasure of ARC reading this story and I really enjoyed it! We have a mature aged FMC, Saige, who is 35 years old and while she has had a bit of a tough life she continues to look at the positive side of things which I admired.
Then we have our touch starved MMC, Archer, and what a delicious man he is with his flower tattoos on his back and his hot little glasses!
Helen always hits with the found family and this is no different! I love Yev, Raven and Grimm and I can’t wait to get to know Cahir and Rook more (who are just as delicious as Archer and if you haven’t seen the art go to Helen’s page asap).
The twist at the end, I did not see coming at all! I have many questions that need answers and require book 2 asap!
Helen is and always will be an auto buy author for me! 🖤

A perfect prequel novella to hook, line and sinker you!! I was already impatient for Kiss of the Black Flame and now I am ravenous for it! I knew I would love Saige as Helen writes excellent fmc’s who just resonate with you and I can tell Saige is one already! It was so nice getting a bit of backstory and to know some characters already. Cannot wait for September when Kiss of The Black Flame releases!! ❤️‍🔥 by @bookswithbrooki

Happy Place ☀️

I loved this one! This whole story felt real. The exploration of not only the love between Harriet and Wyn but also the adult friendships and how life changes, people change but you can still choose each other was a beautiful and resonating story. I am now texting my besties to organise an annual trip away like we have been meaning to for years! I loved the dual timeline, how it was weaved throughout. The only thing I would have changed is that I would have loved some of Wyn’s perspective. The audio was excellent, loved the narrator and the emotion she put into the story!

5 fantastic stars!!! Holy moly!! I thought I loved the first one of these but this one is just as good if not better! Once again I devoured this book, did not want to put it down and did not stop thinking about it. Meryn is out for revenge and I am here for it. And Meryn & Stark, oh my that’s some hot spice mixed with beautiful tender moments, perfection! The story was so engaging and kept on giving, action packed and with a punch too! I enjoyed the direction in which the story went and cannot wait for book 3! by @bookswithbrooki

The Things We Leave Unfinished 🌸
My first of Yarros’ contemporary romance books and my it was excellent. It was such a heartfelt but also heartbreaking story to read. I haven’t read many stories based in times of war but I feel like Yarros represented the war and how it affects different people brilliantly. The dual timelines and the way the letters were weaved throughout just made the story all the more impactful. Scarlett and Jameson’s romance during the war was beautiful. Georgia and Noah’s in the present day was sweet and full of self-growth. Highly recommend friends! 💜 by @bookswithbrooki
