the leaves have fallen and fall is officially over. it’s the last day of november and i’ve been reminiscing the last couple of months where the weather was cool and the leaves were colorful.

but december is upon us and im ready for all the christmas festivities to begin. by @bookswmaddyy

for the past couple of months i have been watching game of thrones. i finished the show about a week ago and it is all i can think about.

i’m wanting to read the series so i can dive back into the world, but also to see the difference between the show vs. the book.

a calm summer night

hello my loves, lately life has been so peaceful. i’ve spent my days watching sunsets at the lake, staying in the comfort of my home while reading, and watching game of thrones.

i’m currently reading two books:

mile high - i’m 30% into this book and so far so good. i’m loving the banter of these two characters. however i am a bit nervous due to the size of the book. we learned so much about the characters so early on so i’m a bit concerned for what happens in the next 300 pages.

red rising - i’m 33% into this book and i’m not loving it. i don’t quite know what it is, the book sounds entertaining but when i read it, it feels very slow paced. i’m honestly contemplating on whether i should dnf the book. it’s just not holding my attention. by @bookswmaddyy

meet me at the lake

i spent the last week away on vacation. i went to colombia for the first time 🇨🇴. i got to visit some family, explore the cities, and eat delicious food. now that i am back home i am missing it dearly.

as for what i read while i was away:

meet me at the lake - i was not a fan of this book, i did not like the trope and i felt that the characters had no chemistry. however i do really like her writing style. i loved every summer after by her and i can’t wait to read her new release that everyone has been talking about. 2🌟.

ward d - this was a fun one. i downloaded it on my kindle for my flight. i was intrigued throughout the whole book and it gave what i wanted it to give. however the book really is nothing special just a good ol’ time. for that 3🌟. by @bookswmaddyy

my day in photos
& a reading update

i finished reading keeping 13 a couple days ago. i needed some time to recover before i picked up a new book. i miss Johnny and Shannon. i’m so sad that their story is over. i need more of them.

yesterday i decided to pick up the conditions of will. i don’t have many thoughts at the moment since i am only 50 pages in but i will say i am loving Jessa’s writing style. something about the way she writes is so mesmerizing and hooked me from the very first page. by @bookswmaddyy
