Definitely a delayed post, but I went to @noahsbriskreviews book release event last week in @bnolympia !

Believe it or not, they were actually sold out of his books for the event because too many people pre-ordered, so they didn’t have any in stock (which, I think is a good problem to have). Thus, got a bookplate signed and just ordered and physical copy later.

Then because I asked a question, got a very awesome print! And then you can also some of the other goodies I got from the event. taken in Barnes & Noble by @bookworm.md

The first bookshelf is up! And I love it. Not completely sorted correctly, but not having the tower of books on the ground and on my work desk, is a good start

And no, this is not my entire collection. Not pictured is my manga collection on one of those spiny bookshelves, and then I have about 200-300 books back in storage across country 😅 Once I get more shelves up, I’ll transport those. by @bookworm.md

Book signings from @rosecitycc!

First up is Anji Kills a Kang by @book_reviews_kill. I met him for the first time at WorldCon a couple weeks ago, really enjoyed the panels he was on, so picked up his book to give a read! Additionally, he also has a Patreon where he has just started releasing a new LitRPG he is working on, one chapter per week. I think he is on chapter 2 at the time of this post? Either way, just back him on Patreon, haven’t started yet, but based on hearing him talk on panels and his podcast, I think a LitRPG by him should be good time!

Next is The Knife’s Edge, An Arbiter’s Gift, and Visions of a Hidden by @matthewwolfauthor. I had been seeing him on Instagram for a long time, had no idea he was going to be at RCCC, but ending up having a great conversation with him. Did not know anything about the books, but again, super cool guy, so grabbed book 1 and first two novellas, to give the series a go!

Lastly, we all know him, @officialterrybrooks. Got the next four books signed. taken in Oregon Convention Center by @bookworm.md

No books, but did get some awesome art, anime, and video game related items from @officialpax_ West!

MTiamat by @brycekhodraws, which is a magic the gathering card. Going to see him in MTG Atlanta, but the art lines are magic cons are a nightmare

Next, we have an art book for Sea of Stars by the artist @brycekhodraws! And the book even came with a doodle in the cover

Over of my favorite games is The Cult of the Lamb, so picked up a Switch 2 carrying case, and a key that pulls out to the lamb lol from @cptnalex

Lastly, this awesome Baki duffle bag from @bibisamaapparel taken in Seattle Convention Center by @bookworm.md

Day 4 from @laworldcon!

Got my Green Bone saga signed by @fonda.lee (not how each pen she used matched the color of each cover!)

I went to a live portrait oil painting demonstration by @danielsartwork, and went down to the artist alley immediately after to get a print. Super super cool dude. Obviously amazing art; but he also won the art show award for WolrdCon too!

One of my fiance favorite artists is @gdbeeart, thus I could not leave the convention without getting her one

Lastly, the hot cocoa dragon, coffee dragon, and green tea dragon from Karen Ann Hollingsworth taken in Anaheim Convention Center by @bookworm.md

Day 3 from @laworldcon!

Got all three books from the Ann and Dinn mysteries signed by @r.jackson.bennett. I actually just read The stained Cup maybe 3 weeks ago? And now I have about 100 pages left in Trade of Blood. So yeah, totally loving this series!

I a massive MTG fan, thus had to get my copy of Sridharan signed by @seananmcguire

@ai.jian.g was kind enough to be giving out some ARCs for an empire in the clouds. And fun fact! before I became a doctor, my undergraduate degree is The Classics and Chinese (that was almost 15 years ago, so my Chinese is nearly non-existent now… along with most of my Latin and Greek lol) but that is why for her Chinese signature too!

I forgot to take a photo of the autograph, but I started reading Bat Eater, and seemed good, so I picked up Japanese Gothic, since @kylieleebaker was also doing a signing this day taken in Anaheim Convention Center by @bookworm.md

Day 2 from @laworldcon!

Bat Eater and Other Names for Cora Zeng by @kylieleebaker. I don’t read horror super often, but have been wanting to read this one since it came out! And went to a reading for her upcoming novel, Hell to Pay, which an awesome over, ya’ll should check out.

Picked up the whole trilogy of the highglade series by @dl.jennings! He did sign book 2, but the comment he wrote contains a spoiler, so I promised no peaking lolol Funny story, I saw him first day, and swore I knew him from somewhere he didn’t know where, and then I realized it was because I followed him on IG (my other personal account, not this one) lol

Then the first art pick up of con! These gorgeous dragons representing the four seasons by @theresammather taken in Anaheim Convention Center by @bookworm.md
