🎀 Because apparently, owning a million bookish things isn't quite enough. And who are we to argue with that? 🎀

The Bookys Advent Calendar is back with 14 individually wrapped surprises for your inner Booky. Expect a mix of Bookys favourites, useful goodies for your everyday reading life, festive treats and a few exclusive designs created especially for this box.

Some things are made for the Christmas season. Others will happily stick around long after the decorations are packed away. So at least we're being practical about this questionable financial decision.

You can open one package a day like a person with excellent self-control or open everything at once and pretend the countdown was merely a suggestion. We are not here to judge.

Now, the important question: are you actually going to open one package a day, or are we all just lying to ourselves? 👀 by @bookys_nl

There is a very specific kind of reader who sees a 700 page fantasy book and thinks, “That should keep me busy for a couple of days.” 💙

Three nights later, they’re running on caffeine, emotionally attached to a suspicious number of fictional characters and somehow convinced that abandoning all real life responsibilities is a perfectly reasonable response to a plot twist.

Sleep? Negotiable. Social life? Currently on hold. The fate of a fictional kingdom? Absolutely critical. And if anyone dares to interrupt during the final chapters, they’d better have a very good reason.

Happy reading, Book Dragons. May your favourite characters survive, your enemies get what they deserve and your TBR never stop growing. 🐉📚

You do not yield. You do, however, need more coffee 😉 by @bookys_nl

The calendar is full, the TBR is out of control and there are approximately seventeen books currently occupying valuable brain space.

Somewhere in between keeping track of release dates, deciding which book to read next and mentally preparing for fictional problems that have absolutely nothing to do with real life, there’s still a day to get through.

Naturally, caffeine is involved.

This tumbler is here for the coffee, the iced drinks and all those reading sessions that somehow turn into an entire evening. Because being booked and busy is one thing, but doing it without a drink within arm’s reach? Unacceptable. 📚 by @bookys_nl

🧡 Fully booked. Literally. 🧡

The calendar is full. The TBR is out of control. The bag already contains three things that probably should have been left at home and somehow, there’s still room for another book.

This sleeve is here to keep your current read protected while you go about your very busy business of being a reader.

With its playful collage-style design, it’s basically a little snapshot of everything your bookish brain is interested in, all wrapped around the book you’re currently obsessed with.

Designed for small paperbacks and hardcovers up to 21 cm, with a soft, zipper-free interior to keep your book safe from whatever chaos is happening inside your bag. 🧡 by @bookys_nl

There are new book releases and then there are the releases that make you forget every financial goal you’ve ever set for yourself 🧡

The ones you’ve been waiting months for, the ones you’ve been counting down to, the ones that somehow become an absolute necessity the moment the preorder goes live. And when it’s a new ACOTAR book? Well, let’s just say the monthly budget never really stood a chance.

Today, some wallets will be facing a particularly difficult day. Some TBRs will be getting a little bigger and some readers will be pretending this purchase was a completely reasonable financial decision.

But hey, it’s a new ACOTAR book. What exactly were we supposed to do, NOT buy it? 👀

Happy ACOTAR release day, Bookys! May your reading time be uninterrupted and your wallets recover eventually. 🧡🎀 by @bookys_nl

I can’t wait to see familiar faces, meet new Bookys and spend the day surrounded by fellow book lovers. Come say hi! 🎀 by @bookys_nl

Some readers avoid spoilers at all costs. Others accidentally read the last page first and call it research. 👀

And then there are the readers who spoil things for themselves on purpose, because apparently suspense is great until you actually have to sit there wondering what happens next.

This aluminum bookmark is for those who have absolutely no self-control when it comes to sneaking a peek ahead. You know who you are. No judgment here.

At 18 cm long, with a sturdy aluminum finish and a tassel to keep your place, it’s ready for every reading session, including the ones where you’re technically on chapter twelve but already know what happens in chapter thirty-eight.

Be honest: are you a strict no-spoilers reader, or do you occasionally need to know whether your emotional investment is worth it? 👀 by @bookys_nl

Leg day? Never heard of it... 👀

Some people lift weights. Others carry 7 books home from the bookstore because apparently “just having a look” is a legally binding invitation to spend money.

And honestly, have you seen the size of a reader’s TBR? The physical weight alone should count as a workout. The emotional weight of knowing you’ll never get through all of them? That’s an entirely different training programme.

This shopper is here for all your book hauls, library trips and completely unnecessary bookstore visits that somehow end with another five books.

Extra roomy, sturdy, and bright enough to make your bookish priorities everyone else’s business. 💗 by @bookys_nl

You’re a Bookish Baddie when:

💙 You’ve stopped pretending your reading habits need to make sense to anyone else.
💙 You annotate books you love and leave others completely untouched.
💙 You’ll happily reread a 500-page book but somehow a 12-page instruction manual feels like a personal attack.
💙 You have a favourite fictional place you’d move to immediately, despite the very obvious risk of dragons, murder or general lack of indoor plumbing.
💙 You’ll remember the name of a fictional character from a book you read eight years ago, but absolutely cannot remember why you walked into the kitchen.

Which one called you out? Or are you adding your own? by @bookys_nl

❔ You finally finish a book you've been reading for weeks, What happens next ❔ by @bookys_nl

🕯 Set the mood for a story that takes its sweet time getting somewhere 🕯

'Slow Burn' is a rose and vanilla scented candle made for readers who live for lingering glances, unbearable tension and the kind of romance where absolutely nothing happens for 300 pages before everything suddenly happens at once ❤

With its playful ceramic pot, tiny roses, book and heart on top, it brings a little romance to your reading space without taking itself too seriously. And when the candle has burned down, the pot gets a second life as a mug, bookmark holder or a little home for whatever bookish treasures have somehow accumulated on your desk.

Basically, it smells like a romance novel and looks like one too. We’ll leave the plot twists to your current read.. by @bookys_nl
