A blue bee!? I was curious about the blue dot on this little one in my garden so I looked into it! It turns out this bee is part of a scientific study. Researchers mark them with tiny dots of paint so they can recognize them in the wild and track their movements. I love the idea that this little bee is contributing to science just by being it’s beautiful self #🐝 #bluebee #researchbee #portalsandthresholds #savethebeessavetheworld taken in Westchester County by @boomermuse

Since I no longer need glasses, I am seeing the world with fresh eyes and a new perspective. When I look in the mirror now, I notice both flaws and beauty that I never noticed before and I think it’s time for all women to reclaim that feeling of not only being OK when they look at the mirror, but self satisfied and sovereign confidence like fuck yeah.

Just a little random #wednesdaywisdom on a lovely sunny early autumn day. I never thought I would look in aviator sunglasses, but I think these new #sunnies from #katespadenewyork work. And there’s nothing more Sunny than a beautiful yellow egg yolk. After you’ve done an energetic #shamanichealing cleansing with an egg. My link for instructions in stories. Have a sunny day. 🌞#portalsandthresholds by @boomermuse

#1234 The important things in life usually happen in sequence. We want to jump straight to the result: to be confident before we’ve practiced, successful before we’ve learned, or healed before we’ve processed what hurt us. But every step has a purpose.

You might be able to skip a step here and there, but you can’t skip the growth, the lessons, or the preparation that make the final destination meaningful. Progress is often slower and less glamorous than we expect, but each small action builds the foundation for what comes next.

So don’t worry about being at the end of the sequence yet. Just focus on the step in front of you. Do it well, learn from it, and let the next step reveal itself. #wisdomquotes #portalsandthresholds #blackandwhitephotography #stepstosuccess taken in New York City by @boomermuse

Today’s #angelreading from my garden reads “Creativity.” You don’t need talent to be creative, you just need to make something. Cooking, gardening, writing, painting, or posting a video all count. Try making one small thing today, just for the joy of it. #creativity #portalsandthresholds #oraclecardreading See the entire post at my blog #boomermuse https://laylamorganwilde.com/angel-reading-creativity/ taken in New York, New York by @boomermuse

✨ New Moon in Virgo ✨

Today’s New Moon is anything but ordinary. As the final lunation after eclipse season, it invites us to pause, integrate, and create a more intentional foundation for what comes next.

Virgo reminds us that transformation often begins in the everyday: our routines, our habits, our health, our boundaries, and the small choices we make consistently.

But this New Moon arrives alongside a powerful shift in the skies: Venus enters deep and discerning Scorpio, Mercury moves into relationship-oriented Libra, and Uranus stations retrograde in Gemini. It’s a cosmic reset around how we care for ourselves, what we value, how we communicate, and which outdated stories we’re finally ready to rewrite.

This is a beautiful moment to simplify, reorganize, release perfectionism, and choose the next practical step toward the life you’re creating. The invitation isn’t to do everything at once but make the changes that make everything else more sustainable.

🌑 What are you ready to refine, reset, and recommit to?

The shadow isn’t always something to fear. Sometimes it holds the memories, feelings, and parts of ourselves that we’ve tucked away but that doesn’t make them negative. By gently acknowledging what lives beneath the surface, we can understand ourselves more deeply and become a fuller, more honest version of who we are. The past may still appear from time to time, but perhaps it isn’t there to haunt us; perhaps it’s there to help us grow. #shadow #shadowworkmemes #portalsandthresholds #shadowphotography #jungianshadow taken in New York, New York by @boomermuse
