The flames remind me of what I could imagine Bryaxis to look like or it just that imagery brings her to mind for me. It's a bonfire of bones...

Also, is that a Stygian Spider or a kharankui with a spool of Spidersilk thread??

I am really hoping that Stacy will write at least one more book about the Quigley Sisters! I love these ladies quite a lot!

#TheWitchingMoonManor by @stacy_sivinski by @boookishbrit

So far this has been delightful. This story centers around Triplet witches who run the highly successful "Crescent Moon" tearoom. Within their enchanted house the Quigley sisters: Anne, Beatrix, and Violet work in perfect harmony brewing teas, baking treats, and reading tea leaves. That is until a mysterious letter arrives stirring up both three seemingly impossible tasks and an unknown curse. If they do not come together to both complete these tasks and break their curse they may not only lose their beloved tearoom but also each other. A whimsical, warm, and touching story of sisterhood. I look forward to what this story has in store for these three ladies.

Took a bit to get into this because of world building and I was annoyed by some of the FMC's choices. However is was somewhat refreshing to read an imperfect protagonist. But once the story grabbed me it was great! I especially enjoyed the last quarter. The dire wolves were awesome and I really look forward to learning more about them, particularly Anassa. She's a badass!

And this is really not that similar to Fourth Wing. It has bonding with a magic creature/training/ trials but otherwise it is it's own unique story.

Quite looking forward to "Fury Bound" in May

Another catchup post.

I loved this! Really enjoyed this novel! Eager for more stories from the #RootsofChaos series @say_shannon! by @boookishbrit

I read this recently. I didn't post because we (my family) lost a immediate family member very recently. So the next two posts are catch up. by @boookishbrit

Review: My goodness that was absolutely wonderful. This was so beautifully written and I was instantly enchanted. I want to stay in these pages longer! Such a gorgeous story. Highly recommend! Rating with all the stars within ever constellation in the sky!

My goodness my next read, #WildReverence, is GORGEOUS! I was totally suprised when I took the dustcover off! How beautiful?! I've heard wonderful things about this book and I'm already loving the writing and I've barely started!

Another awesome surprise is that this is signed by @beccajross herself!

So, I gave Thursday Murder Club about a hundred pages and it's good but I'm just not in the right mood/ state of mind for it right now (personal life stuff) . I need something else, so, I've been meaning to read #TheVerySecretSocietyofIrregularWitches by @sangumandanna for a while, since it comes so highly recommended. So here's hoping it's as good as I've heard it to be.

Doing a bit of a palate cleanser with #TheThursdayMurderClub by @misterosman. I was throughly charmed by the movie on Netflix that I thought I'd give it a read when a used copy came into @beachreadsbookshop. I just adore the little foxes featured on the cover's of this series. I do love a whodunit movie such as Knives Out, Orient Express, etc so perhaps I will enjoy reading them too?

These books do sell well at the shop! I'll update this post with thoughts once I'm finished!

Also using my new @enchantedoddities Luna Moth bookmark :)

Monthly wrap up! Wow, I read a lot this month! I'm pretty proud of myself for reading this much! Seven books and two novellas also, part of an eighth!
This snowy and frigid weather has definitely been a big contributor.

My favourite read of this month was "Half A Soul" by @oliviaatwaterauthor! And so far runner up is The Ascended. I'm really enjoying it so far.

February is full of most of my most anticipated reads: "Songbird of the Sorrows" by @braideeottobooks , "Agnes Aubert's Mystical Cat Shelter" by @heather_fawcett, and "The Fox Hunt" by @caitlinbreezewrites. by @boookishbrit
