Today just so happened to mark 12 years of ownership of my wagon, which happened to fall on my first real car show with it. It was only realized 3/4 of the way through the show that this became my car 12 years ago to this date. What are the odds?

I want to thank my lovely wife @madeline_elise_ for being my biggest supporter and #1 fan, because without you, this dream would have never come to fruition. I would also like to thank my family and Maddi’s family for showing up to support me and see what I’ve been pouring time and effort to for the past few years. And I’d like to thank @nocoast_westicle and @megmyday16 for showing up to help me put finishing touches on the car right before the show started! A year late but whateva.

Our Saabaru has had a helluva transformation in our 3 years of ownership. Freshly rebuilt EJ205 courtesy of @isi_4maya, 03 WRX interior swap, tons of dent repair, newer hood freighted from Tennessee, rusty quarter panel graft, bumper repair, skirt repair, powder coated 17” Saab 9-2x Aero Premium wheels, and painted Java Black Pearl by Maaco. Came out incredibly well. Not too bad for a 21 year old car.

In my last few weeks of welding school, I replicated a set of EZ30D phase 1 headers that had been recently out of production. Since there’s no longer an aftermarket exhaust for the EZ30D, I figured I’d fill the void in the market. I’ll be making more as customers demand them. This thing turned out pretty sweet, and I am excited to streamline the process as I make more of them in the future. Contact me if you’re interested in a set of headers!

The next time the wheels are on the ground, this car will no longer be turbocharged 🥲

I’ve made the decision to set this car back to stock. No more turbo noises, no more E85, no more boost. Getting this to pass emissions in Colorado has been a nightmare to say the least. Time to throw a bone stock exhaust back on it, pass emissions, and sell the car. Time to move on to other projects, unfortunately. by @boost_caboose

Made my first exhaust jig so I can duplicate these EZ30D headers. Since the only headers ever made for this engine no longer exist, I figure I’d fill the void and start contributing to the Subaru flat 6 parts market. EZ30D Phase 1 headers coming soon!

Some aluminum repair on a set of WRX wheels today. Pretty dented and wavy, got it built back up and ground down to round again!

After 5 years of running this thing without a blowoff valve, I finally installed one, but only to pass emissions. Otherwise it’s still gonna be capped off for the sweet choo choo noises.
