🍂 Helping hands, cleaner yards and grateful neighbors! Boost VolunTeens and Boost KC adult volunteers recently teamed up to tackle yardwork for two homebound Northland older adults. They raked, weeded, trimmed limbs and filled 23 large bags with yard debris for Missouri Organic Recycling. Each homeowner also received a fall mum to brighten the day!

Thank you to our teens and adult volunteers for sharing your time, energy and kindness with our neighbors! 💙

Do you know a teen who would like to volunteer to help our community? Students in grades 7–12 can still join Boost VolunTeens! Visit boostkc.org > Get Involved > VolunTeens for information. by @boost_kcmo

💙 A bundle of essentials. A gesture of compassion. Boost KC volunteers assembled 210 Boost Bundles for Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA). Each bundle provides new, clean clothing and hygiene items for survivors receiving care at hospitals following an assault — offering comfort and helping restore dignity during a difficult time.

Thank you to our volunteers and donors for making this compassionate care possible. 💙

Congrats to this BOOSTful duo, Sheryl and Bonnie! Even though they would much rather be playing a game of Mah Jongg, these two dedicated Boost KC members step up, reach out, and work tirelessly every month to fill every shift on THE ReSALE SHOP volunteer calendar. Their BOOSTful commitment helps ensure Boost KC generates the funds needed to support our organization’s eight philanthropic programs.

As Boost KC's largest source of income, @the_resale_shop requires more than 60 volunteers each week. Bonnie and Sheryl make phone calls, send emails, and personally connect with members to recruit openers, closers, cashiers, greeters, sales floor volunteers and donation door attendants.

Please applaud Bonnie and Sheryl for all they do for Boost KC! by @boost_kcmo

Congratulations to Mya Williams, a graduate of Excelsior Springs High School and recipient of the Jason Merrill Memorial Scholarship, administered by Boost KC. Mya is heading to the University of Central Missouri to pursue her passion for music and her goal of becoming a music educator. Her resilience, leadership, kindness and determination have helped prepare her for this exciting next step. As Mya heads to UCM this fall, we are proud to celebrate her accomplishments and the bright future ahead.

Congratulations to all our scholarship recipients, and we wish them much success as they head to campus and begin this exciting new chapter!💙🎓 by @boost_kcmo

Boost KC’s Patty Garney Program Center is more than just a building — it’s a welcoming space where elementary students experience the confidence that comes from having what they need to succeed. Home to Boost KC’s Threads2Thrive program, the center provides new clothing to students, helping them feel comfortable, confident and ready to take on the school year.

We are incredibly grateful to @scribbleversestudios scribe for his generous partnership, creativity and continued support of Boost KC. His incredible artwork brings the program center to life, with vibrant designs covering the exterior windows and inspiring murals throughout the interior space.

Thanks to Scribe’s talent and generosity, students who visit the center are greeted by an environment that feels warm, uplifting and welcoming — a place where they can feel valued and empowered.

Thank you, Scribe, for helping us create a space that reflects the heart of Boost KC and the students we proudly serve. 💙 by @boost_kcmo

As we wrap up Dinks for a Difference, we simply want to say thank you. To every player, volunteer, sponsor and supporter who helped make the tournament such a success — thank you for your time, enthusiasm and generosity. Whether you competed on the courts, worked behind the scenes or cheered others on, you helped create a day filled with fun, camaraderie and community spirit.

Most importantly, your participation will have a lasting impact beyond the pickleball courts. Proceeds from the tournament help support Boost KC's volunteer-powered programs, providing clothing, educational resources and compassionate support that boost confidence, opportunity and dignity for thousands of our neighbors throughout Kansas City.

Thank you for making a difference—one dink, one volley and one act of kindness at a time. 💙🏓
