Notification is now an award-winning film! We took home Best Screenplay at the @easthamptonfilmfest and couldn’t be more proud. Not only that, but this may just be the coolest award of all time, handmade by @movieruntime with real bay leaf so we have real-life laurels! This beautiful object lives alongside the mission of this film - a call to reclaim our time, humanity, community and how we utilize the technology we are creating. Lots of love, y’all. On we go. Thank you for the birthday love, everyone. All is well in our world of parenting. And a show is on!I should have posted this two weeks ago, but I got the flu at tech and missed opening night. But luckily, nobody else got it and it has created a delightful running joke that every single show is opening, so @alexandrao18 and I wish each other a happy opening, do the show, and then say, “see you for opening tomorrow!” This is a big undertaking and it’s been a wondrous journey with the incredible Alexandra O’Halloran to endeavor to capture @playwrightkenludwig ’s beautiful story of how his parents met during WW2 and how their love endured through the horrors of wartime. Ken’s play gives voice to the people he knew very well who lived through this moment in history. Performing it now, I feel, is a reminder of what this piece of history taught/teaches us and how it affected and informed U.S. identity, our future and our culture. Come listen. We run until April 4th. Tix in bio!I’ve dedicated the show to my grandparents and parents, so pix of them attached.
