HONORING THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE

Today, on the International Day of Peace, we are reminded of a responsibility that belongs not only to governments and international institutions, but to every one of us: the responsibility to build a world in which dialogue prevails over division, cooperation over confrontation, and human dignity over conflict.

Peace is not simply the absence of war. It is the presence of understanding, justice, opportunity and mutual respect. It is created when nations choose diplomacy, when communities choose dialogue, when leaders exercise responsibility, and when people recognize that our shared humanity is greater than the differences that separate us.

At a time when our world faces profound geopolitical, economic, technological, environmental and humanitarian challenges, peace must remain at the heart of international cooperation.

Our differences should never prevent us from recognizing our common interests. Across borders, cultures and generations, people share fundamental aspirations: to live safely, to provide opportunities for their families, to participate in prosperous societies, and to look toward the future with hope.

The consequences of a single click can be far-reaching.
A phishing email can lead to:
