Been working on some concepts for new designs. I can't get away from the geometric theme that easily though. 😆 Particularly liking this colour palette on a dark wood. I have a body ready to go with a lovely mahogany rear/sides and spruce top that may well feature this design.

Thrilled to receive Blusher#2 tele body from the hero himself Jamie over at @bordermanguitars.

I saw him post about his new venture a while back and I loved the design so much i ordered one on the spot!

I can’t wait to build this up. I have a neck waiting at home and some beautiful custom Tele pickups courtesy of the legendary guitar man Mr @benwestaway.

I often get asked if my designs can work with contours of guitar bodies. My process ideally requires a level surface so I generally tend to keep to that for the highest detail possible. However, I have some designs in the pipeline going against the rules. I'm interested to see the effect of over spray when the printer head passes over these lower areas of guitar contours. Print is great like that. Sometimes the imperfections lead to lovely results. by @bordermanguitars

It doesn't all go to plan sometimes. Here's a piece I had to start from scratch with as I wasn't happy with the quality of the print registration. So out with the sander. Also an opportunity for some reverse video 😆.

HH Geo 2 ▪️Okoume Body.

One For the humbucker lovers. Another adaption of my Geo design over a metallic grey. Rear control cavity for a clean looking top. This is my first design featuring a monotone rear. I really like this more subtle approach working with the base colour. Should I do this more?

"Blusher" #2
.
Here's a second edition of my "Blusher" design. Love how this design works with the surf green base colour. This design also features the origin of my colour shifting pinstripes around the edge of the body. The pinstripes have an overlay opacity so they react with the colours they pass through. Similar effect to screen print overlay. It's a subtle touch but I love it!

So here's a peak at the reverse side of a current piece in production. Going with a stealthy monotone design in contrast to the vibrant front (shown in a previous post).

T-Type HH Okoume body with a nice metallic silver/grey base colour.

Excited to get a clear coat on this and bring it all together!
