Sala Comacina ha qualcosa che non so spiegare fino in fondo.
Forse è quel modo tutto suo di stare sul lago, senza cercare di stupire.
Eppure, a me, ha stupito subito...
Dal primo sguardo.
Senza bisogno di conoscerla, senza dover aspettare un tramonto o la luce giusta.
È stato istantaneamente amore a prima vista...💘

Sala Comacina è un piccolo e affascinante borgo italiano di circa 450 abitanti sulla sponda occidentale del Lago di Como, di fronte all'unica e celebre Isola Comacina. Il paese è famoso per il suo centro storico fatto di viuzze strette, la vicinanza alla Greenway del Lago di Como e la splendida vista

[Il Masso che salvò Dezzo]

Quello che successe il 1 dicembre di 102 anni fa è una delle peggiori tragedie che ha colpito il territorio lombardo: il collasso della Diga del Gleno rilascia milioni di metri cubi nella valle sottostante che si risveglia sommersa dal fango 😔

Nell'immenso disastro, un piccolo miracolo: la presenza di un grande masso erratico, oggi incastonato tra gli edifici, riesce a smorzare la forza dell'acqua e a proteggere parte delle case del piccolo borgo di Dezzo 🏘

This is fortress Firmafede in Sarzana, Liguria (right down to - almost - Tuscany).

The Citadella was the town's first military fortification; along with the city walls it was built with the help of the town's Pisan allies. Important changes and improvements to its defensive systems were made in 1324 by Castruccio Castracani, but the Florentines, led by Lorenzo de' Medici, destroyed it in 1487. It was rebuilt between 1487 and 1492, on top of the ruins of the first Cittadella (on orders of de' Medici himself), with a round, central tower, of the kind that half a century later came to be replaced by angled bastions.
When Charles VIII of France sold Sarzana to the Bank of Saint George in 1496, this included the fortress; in 1562, the Republic of Genoa, which had acquired ownership of the town, completed the fortress. [Wikipedia]

🇮🇹 Golden light poured across Casperia, turning rooftops, stone walls and narrow streets into a scene suspended between history and memory.
From above, the village revealed its quiet soul: the medieval bell tower rising over the houses, the soft hills of Sabina fading into the distance, and swallows circling above the rooftops as evening slowly settled.
I love walking through these alleys, where every stone seems to preserve a story. But flying my drone over Casperia allowed me to discover another perspective—more intimate and majestic at the same time—while that magical light embraced the entire landscape.
This is the Sabina I love: peaceful, authentic and timeless.

Griante: il borgo delle ville, del silenzio e delle grandi storie. 🕊️✨
Passeggiare tra i vicoli di Griante significa fare un viaggio nel tempo. Situata in una delle posizioni più panoramiche del Lago di Como, proprio di fronte al promontorio di Bellagio, questa perla incastonata nella pietra unisce l'anima autentica del borgo antico al fascino aristocratico della sua storia. 🏛️🌿
