Our wedding was small, intimate and romantic and you would feel the love in the room from us and our loved ones. It was not the perfect day but it was the perfect day for us. Some of the professional photos that were shared with me so far. Look forward to all the photographs from that day. It was so special and wonderful and fun. I wish that I could have everyone I love there. Ours was a small wedding with each of us inviting 30 of our friends and family. Weddings are expensive and very involved even on a small level. My husband of 1 year is the most considerate man I have ever met. I am always on his mind and he lets me know that every day. He’s been like this since the day I met him almost three years ago. Paper is the gift for the first year anniversary. My gift from Roy was this book of Puerto Rican artists and poems. But what is special about this book is it’s a first edition and a rare book to find. It took him three different brokers to help track down this book published in 1967. He thought I would love a book that celebrates my heritage and culture. I prayed for this kind of love. The same love I have always given but never received back until now. I married this man last year in an intimate court house ceremony and today we celebrate one year of marriage. This is the happiest I have ever been. We got dressed up and had a fancy dinner at Morimoto and laughed and told each other our favorite thing we love about each other. Happy Anniversary my love. This is dedicated to @mattycupcake for encouraging me to sing on here and requesting some songs and reminding me of how I opened up a whole group of teenagers to the music of Amy Winehouse when I first started teaching. My new favorite of this magical day. Lately I need to be reminded of some good times as I struggle with some medical stuff. Having our wedding pictures trickle in each week makes me happy. I had body dysmorphia today. I feel fluffy cause of all the good vacation eating. I saw an image in a mirror that had me doubting myself. The mind plays tricks. My husband then snapped this photo on the right today. I compared it to my last years vacation and it put it into perspective.
